Best Colour Paint for My Front Door (My Wife Wants Pink!!!!!)

I really like a house at the back of mine it's dark grey looks lovely but I think that's because the windows are done the same

Pink.aargh! sage green sounds lovely.

Pink will definitely make your home stand out if that is what you want. You will be known as the house with the pink door, even if you eventually paint over it.

My front door is a dark grey and I love it, couldn't be doing with pink personally but each to their own.

Is your wife called Barbie lol? I think red would be preferable, a deep burgundy would go with the windows. However I do like things to match so I would plump for grey as others have said, but maybe a shade or two lighter.

You could do half and half then you’re both happy. If you don’t fancy that I’d just go with what your other half wants

Pink is my fave colour so I back the wife you could go for a pale pink or some other pastel colour like pastel green or yellow. Bright red pops but may not be to everyone's taste

We used to have a duck egg blue door and everyone commented on how nice it was. Haven't got a picture though as it was in our old house. As daft as it sounds I loved those doors. I think it would depend on the shade of pink, I like the colour pink but wouldn't have it on my door. I'm not sure pink would work with dark grey windows.

Black or white only. It stops you from being stereotyped.

I'm not sure on pink and dark grey windows, maybe a dusky pink could work. I like the idea of a colorful door though.

Pink will make your door look faded and washed out. Grey has been over done by loads of people, so go for some other colour.

A pink door could look lovely it would depend on the shade of pink though.

I would personally choose a baby pink or soft pink and not a bright or dusky colour.

Duck egg blue, vintage green/sage would add a bit of colour and look beautiful but it is very popular, if you wanted to follow the trend.

If you wanted to be different and stand out a bit, I think many shades of yellow could work with a white house and grey windows.

Or a more sophisticated a bit different, would be a deep plum: (plus pink and purple are similar right? )

I love pink but not sure about it on the front door !. I know a lot of people say Gray but I find that quite depressing. I like the idea of sage green, or how about a dark blue?

My door is grey and so is the garage door, we will be painting it at some point to cornflower blue.

Mine is just boring white I would like to paint my door and fence grey maybe next year a woman near me has her's pink its beautiful

Racing green. As long as you don't paint it blue.
