The Mystery of Black Chickens: Have You Tried Them Yet?
Ask a Question
I had no idea you could buy black chickens, I've never seen them to buy or knew they existed, obviously seen black feathered chickens but not their meat
Anyone had one, does it taste different? Picture is Walmart in the U.S
I have seen them before, not sure how I would feel about it, inknow it’s the skin but does the meat taste any different etc of just the colour?
Wasn't aware these existed either, not sure how I feel about it. If it has a difference in taste I'd be willing to try but if it's just the same apart from the colour then I wouldn't bother.
No way never seen one before, and sorry but I wouldn’t wish to eat that. Stick to what I know thank you .
We used to keep Silkie Bantums and they had black skin and flesh. They were best running around in their feathers which could be while, apricot or black. We tried once and never again.
I've never heard, or seen these before. I don't think I could ever eat one, the way they look is enough to put me off. I will not be buying these.
Just shown the picture of the black chickens to my daughter asking her what she thought..Interesting was her comment so no I don't think we will be trying black chicken any time soon...
I've never seen or even heard about a black chicken, the way it looks puts me straight off so I wouldn't try one.
HEDGEHOGS the meat and bones are black too, some are dark grey , I couldn't eat that , not a chance
I’ve had them out in east and south east Asia. They’re leaner and normally organic, free range. The ‘normal’ chicken we buy from the supermarkets here are usually pumped full off crap
