unfortunately, I don't live in an area where these kind of things happen, as we barely chat to our neighbours, but to those who do, you are lucky

That’s nice of them, and they did it anonymously too. Must be a lovely area, with lovely people. Perhaps somewhere to move to 😂

Probably Scotland hehe

Can't beat a scottish CHISH AND FIPS!

I am a connoisseur Spexy i used to visit a new one every week - the best in Glasgow is THE AMBASSADOR in the west end and THE VIKING in Largs so many others its our speciality up here along with Deep fried mars bar and my local guy even does deep fried chocolate pizza!

There used to be one in the posh Glasgow west end called Murphys pizza bar - we all used to go there and take a bit of hash with us and he would add it to the pizza and make his speciality SPACE PIZZA haha true story but he had to close...Sadly!!!

garygemmell It was in the Oxfordshire area, a quaint village town I believe, the kind where the tourists probably pour in by the coach loads lol

I have never tried fish and chips in Scotland before, but as a lot of the fishing is in those region, I bet it’s so fresh and tasty. Down in London, we don’t always know what we are getting...and most of the time the fish is just nasty

hspexy London oh dear how depressing.

You should move to Scotland I can highly recommend the Island of Arran great fish but the best does come from the coast places like the WEE HURRIE in Troon is straight off the dock!

Tried English Fish and Chips when i was in Conwy in Wales last year in a nice little shop near the castle and it was pretty good but the stuff sold in London was horrible just like those chicken shops full of fat and greasy nastiness never understand how Londoners love those greasy chicken shops and kebab nightmare places even in Glasgow I dont think we have any chicken shops except KFC and probalby one or two kebab shops - must be an English thing!

garygemmell lol you’re not wrong, although a lot of the time the people have drunk a fair bit before heading to the chicken and kebab shops, so I guess they wouldn’t know what they’re eating. Remember when that horse meat scandal was around a few years ago? Most of these places were found to have traces, and some even reported with ‘unknown meat‘ in the investigations!
