In your house, who brings the stocking - Parents or Santa?
When I was growing up it was always Santa. 
JLouM We called him Father Christmas growing up but we do Santa with our daughter 
I buy the gifts Santa brings it.
When I was younger my mum got most Santa 1, she kept it going way too long it was obviously in her handwriting too
SamGoodship it was just a gift stockings was just a decoration. I never put my kids gifts in stocking either to ackward
In our house Santa left gifts downstairs and popped upstairs to make sure children were sleeping. He then left stockings on the door handles, they always contained an activity for the early risers to keep them entertained until everyone was awake.
