Burger King Complaint.

Other

I took my granddaughter for tea at burger king last Thursday. I bought her a kids meal we sat down and I realised there was no ‘free’ toy. I went up to the counter and asked for her toy only to be told they had run out and they toy was a freebie anyway ! I explained that I found this a little unfair and and was told ‘oh well we’ve run out’ I said that I thought this was misleading as the meal is advertised with a toy and I would be emailing Burger King that evening then I went and sat down. 2 mins later the manager came over and said my granddaughter and myself could both choose any ice cream we want with his compliments to make up for no toy which we graciously accepted ☺️. It pays to politely complain sometimes ☺️

Good for you! We went to McDonald's drivethru recently and they forgot one of the items on our order. My husbsnd complained as he didnt get his burger and we got a £5 voucher.

My grandma always said you catch more flies with honey. Sometimes the people who you are complaining to are fed up with abuse and shouting, gently gently is my approach, mostly it works.

Good outcome for you then.

It does annoy me thou when they claim something is "Free" yet you have to make a purchase or a commitment to get it, how is that "Free?
