Do You Buy Your Pets Birthday and Christmas Gifts??

It was one of my cats ‘big’ birthdays (80 years young), so I decided to go all out for him and have a birthday party. Mostly humans attended and thought this was hilarious I was having a party for him. I was shocked to find out that none of them bought their pets birthday presents, and only a few got them Christmas gifts.
Surely I can’t be the only person that has the occasional party for their pet lol
Yes my wife does, the dog gets more than I do lol she buys him alsorts, toys, bones ect...

I don't own any pets but I definitely wouldn't. Who is it done for, certainly not the pet as they haven't a clue what day it is.
Lynibis I treat my cat like my child - suppose it was more for me lol. He hardly bothered with anyone at his party. He did enjoy all the treats he got though
PayItForward each to their own, I daresay I do things that others may scratch their heads over. If others aren't hurt and it brings you joy then I say go for it.
We never had a party for our dog but we always bought her a present and she got a special dinner on her birthday.
I haven't had a party for my girls but I buy them lots of gifts wrap them up buy them a birthday cake every year we all sing happy birthday and they get a small peice, I make dog them bone shaped pancakes on pancakes Tuesday I use to buy dog cake mix to bake them biscuits and cupcakes but most got wasted as I don't like to over feed them as they are miniature dachshunds and on a strict diet no rubbish lol wish I could say the same for myself lol we wrap all there Christmas gifts up and my oldest furbay knows when Santa's been she goes mental howling the house down every Christmas morning 
my furbabys are part of my family they have a bed downstairs and another bed in my room

they are so precious I would love everyone treat there pets with kindness I hate seeing people shout and hit there dogs for nothing some people don't deserve to have animals
Always get the pets a present. They feel left out otherwise. They see us getting gifts but not them. My old cat used to sleep next to his stocking. It used to be on the floor. He loved it
Yes I do our dog goes to a doggy daycare and they now offer parties on birthday with cupcakes so my dog will be having one of them also . He also gets Christmas presents as he is a much loved family member to so why not
