I saw this a fantastic achievement, especially as he was working full time.
I few years ago, I swam the equivalent of the Channel for Diabetes UK, I have walked the race for Life, raised a few hundred pounds. Otherwise my fundraising has been passive McMillan coffee mornings etc.
I used to volunteer to raise money for various charities. I cheated by hiding or going to the library or even better I used my own cash and said it was fundraising money.
