Chicken Gravy - Who Likes It?
Ask a Question
I bought Sainsbury's branded chicken gravy thinking it'd go well with fried chicken, but I actually didn't like the taste at all.
Much prefer the normal/beef gravy.
I don’t like Sainsburys in this case. We have to buy free from gluten instant and Asda and Tesco are nice.
I love chicken gravy but I must admit I've not had it for years one that I do have most of the time is lamb and mint gravy
Even with a chicken roast we have beef gravy. It's so long ago that had chicken gravy I can't remember what it tastes like that well but remember not liking it that much and preferring normal gravy.
Can’t remember when the last time we had it, we usually go for the e beef flavour gravy and we buy the supermarkets own brand. I’ve tried the turkey flavour one too it’s also good
I do like chicken gravy but would not put it on fried chicken. I will add it to casserole or on a Sunday dinner. Do prefer beef gravy on a beef dinner.
Home bargains / b&m & Heron sell a southern fried gravy that is delicious. You want that on your fried chicken.
When I make a roast chicken I use the stock from the chicken and I use half chicken gravy and mix half beef gravy in as I prefer it that way
I like chicken gravy on chips, haven't had it in a while, think I'll have it for dinner today
I buy best Chicken Gravy & It`s yummy. If I am wanting a quick southern fried chicken gravy then I buy Mayflower. Home made Is much nicer If cooking a roast using chicken oxo cubes & the stock.
I love gravy, and on a roast dinner, I like lots of it. My favourites are chicken and lamb gravy. Occasionally I have it on chips.
The best chicken gravy in my opinion is the gravy from KFC not that we have it often. I've never found a shop bought one that comes close to it sadly. If we're having a roast dinner my husband usually makes a homemade gravy x
Karen331 ..I started buying Best Gravy Granules, had the Beef, Chicken, Lamb & Pork but now I have cut back at home..
I can't believe the price of Gravy Granules, as a Support Worker I do the shopping including Household & trying to budget has got really difficult!
I like the Mayflower chicken gravy, but other than that I usually do a half and mix of beef and chicken gravy on my chicken
I love chicken gravy. I think it depends on the brand. You can add your own home made chicken stock to it
Mayflower Southern Style Gravy is the one that you want for fried chicken. Usually available in Farmfoods, Home Bargains and B&M
I don't eat fried chicken but do cook chickens in the slow cooker and make my own chicken gravy from the juices, it's lovely.
