MrsChimp pimped out Harvey as a favour to a very well off friend who wanted a litter. She has cancer. Sold 3 pups for ยฃ750 each, and that was before they were born.

Iโm 54 years old and I do actually still laugh at that one !
Did first history talk post Covid for Age Concern this week. Was gratified to be asked by two other groups to do a talk. I am gonna have to start charging as I have to book unpaid time off work each time and obviously can't afford to. It was an enjoyable time with tea, cake and chat.
Lynibis Good for you, did you enjoy it? I'd definitely make a charge if you're having to take unpaid leave. I have a photography friend who used to give talks on photography and he made a charge if it was during the day as he had to close the shop, evenings he just asked for travel expenses.
lilyflower yes, I do really enjoy it. And yes, I will continue to do Age Concern for free but charge others as I do a lot of research and note typing/printing apart from speaking time. Nice to see you back and catch up, don't stay away too long and look after yourself x
Canโt believe what I saw in McDonaldโs today. An old man placed an order for one hamburger , French fries and a drink.
He unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half , placing one half in front of his wife.
He then carefully counted out the French fries , dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife.
He took a sip of the drink , his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them. As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger , the people around them were looking over and whispering.
Obviously they were thinking , 'That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them.'
As the man began to eat his fries a young man came to the table and politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said , they were just fine - they were used to sharing everything..
People closer to the table noticed the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite. She sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.
Again , the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old woman said 'No , thank you , we are used to sharing everything.'
Finally , as the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin , the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked 'What is it you are waiting for?'
She answered
'THE TEETH'

Let's separate, you go left and I'll go right. The man followed Sister Rose. Sister Mary reached the Convent and became worried, it was another hour before Sister Rose appeared.
What happened?
I started to run, so did he, he caught up with me.
OMG. What did you do?
I lifted up my dress Sister!
And what did he do?
He dropped his pants.
And?
It's obvious Sister Mary, a nun with her dress up can run faster than a man with his pants down.

Anyone else having problems with entering comps on Instagram? I'm suspended again, only got back on Saturday, apparently I'm looking for likes. It's very difficult when the prize giver asks you to tag a friend or two.
