When the children were younger I used to purchase throughout the year if I saw a good offer. Never purchased anything from QVC.

Nothing here, we stopped buying early a good few years back as we now find that everywhere seems to reduce their prices in the lead up to Christmas each year anyway .The shops no longer wait for Boxing day to reduce things it's all done before Christmas now. We simply save into a Christmas saver account now which matures in November.

I shop early for Christmas as in one finishes and I start on the next. Sales are on year round so get bits while they are on offer. Don't have much to buy come December

Every year there is this conversation and being a money saver I don't understand some peoples views on its " 2 early" So for me Christmas day night there is bargains for the following 25th of December and instead of January and February being skint . I'm not saying Christmas is commercialised but if its treated like any other day and you do get swept up in the spending money you dont have and use it at the expense of not paying your bills .

stuartsmith544 I understand your views and agree partly you must pay your bills but it's the music and the lights and maybe the spirit of Christmas is what I love. Wish I was that organised to.shop then but normally I'm still clearing up after the family or fast asleep full of Christmas fair!😂😂😂

Although there’s been a nip in the air it didn’t remind me of Christmas so I’m not shopping now.
