When Was the Last Time You Went to the Cinema?
Other
I honestly cannot remember the last time I went to the cinema to watch a film. Used to go more regularly when I was younger. When was the last time you went to the cinema? What did you you watch? What interests you in regards to new releases?
Last month. Went to see A quiet place day one. Loved it. Cinema was overpriced though and no option to pay in cash
It was so long ago I can't remember. I want to go and see Gladiator 2 on the big screen but tbh I am not hearing many good things about it. Cinema is so expensive these days and they wonder why seats aren't full.
I went to watch the latest planet of the apes film which was ok. I’m lucky in that i can go to star city and it’s £5.99 per ticket no matter the time, the cinema close to me though is like £13 a ticket.
I use the sky rewards free tickets as well which is good
Last I went would have been to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi. That was over six and a half years ago. Cinema is so expensive these days so needs to be something I really want to see. Took our son to the community cinema a few weeks ago, was £3 for the 3 of us and the snacks were all under a pound.
MrsCraig I see too many Disney films keeps coming out, there’s Moana 2 too! Haven’t seen Wish yet. Cool but you had be make sure to cancel it after 6 months, how did you do that, online or have to talk to someone? Cause I’m sure you have to added card details even though you get those few months for free as after that it automatically charges you right?
I like going to the cinema. Our local has a bar so people take their drinks in, then I smile to myself when men with their pints have to go to the loo
I frequently go to the cinema. The last time I went was yesterday to watch Alien: Romulus. It was just OK. Unfortunately, it covered a lot of familiar ground.
Oh my goodness I can’t even remember.. that long ago ! Thinking about it either special screening of pursuit of happiness or avatar which I didn’t enjoy.
A very long time ago. It Is not cheap anymore. I would rather watch a Movie at home. You can get the latest ones on the net nowadays for free.
This has made me think …! I haven’t been to the cinema in years. I’m not really a film buff but if I remember rightly I went to see Peter Rabbit with my granddaughter when it first came out
Just a couple of weeks ago, I took my son and we seen minions and had a massive bucket of popcorn
Was a few years ago and it was a birthday treat from best friend we went to see a Marvel’s film called Shang-Chi And The Legend of The Ten Rings! Great film!!
Now don’t see the point cause it’s too expensive, waste of money as now all films will be available to stream online! I have watched a few films for free
The last I went to the cinema it was in Sydney, Australia. My daughter wanted to see a marvel film before it was released in the uk, before her brother could see it.
I went Christmas 2022. I only know that cos I went with work and took the kids I work with there as their Xmas party thing
Can't remember the last time I went to the cinema it must be 3 or 4 years ago at least I always just watch whatever is online or apps
We get The Vue free cinema tickets with our bank accounts, so 12 tickets a year and usually give them away lol. Did go ourselves last month though.
Very time ago, 2017 Churchill played by Toby Jones. Since 2018, I’ve developed progressively getting worse Trigeminal Neuralgia so cinemas are a no-go, which is a shame but at least films do come on the normal television.
We went on Friday to watch Alien and then week before to watch Deadpool . Before that it had been a while since we had been to watch anything in the cinema.
Yesterday to watch aliens Romulus.
Luckily our cinema is quite cheap (£8.65 per adult in luxury recliner seats) and eat afterwards for dinner. Make it a proper afternoon/evening out.
It's probably been 6 years now. I don't remember what I watched and not many new releases interest me. Storylines, acting abilities and directing are often poor quality these days
Took my pal and his now grown up son to see the terminator! Now with AI that’s coming back to haunt me with all this scare munger ing!
I haven't been for a while, my wife takes our youngest children on a Saturday sometimes when it's cheap
2019 to see Rambo: Last Blood. I do wish I'd have seen Joker on cinema (I read Joker 2 will be a musical... I hope not).
There just haven't been that many good movies to see on the big screen.
Watched Twisters a few weeks ago at home and really enjoyed it, but it was only when Glen Powell showed up (the rest of the cast I couldn't care less).
I have never been since I was a teenager and that is a long time ago! I find that now it is too expensive which puts me off going. Not keen on sitting still for two hours as I arthritis and need to stand up and stretch every fifteen minutes or so.
Went last night with my friend and we watch It Ends With Us. Then saw the new Deadpool last month. Vue tickets are from £4.99 last night I paid £6.99 but the Deadpool free with Sky.
Years ago. People a get on my nerves eating and slurping lol. Rather wait till I can watch it at home lol
2019 to see once upon a time in hollywood. I had a free ticket. Haven't been back since and have no plans to
I went this evening to watch Alien: Romulus with my husband. We go to the cinema once a month as we get our tickets free from Sky. It was a good movie too.
Over a year ago but will be going to see Beetlejuice with my partner & our daughter for her 26th birthday in September
My partner has a Cinema card, he likes to visit the cinema, I tend to fall asleep as do my siblings
Took my daughter to watch barbie. But to be honest I prefer to buy films now at home on early release much more comftable & I can pause & go pee
A round two weeks ago, we took our sons, and the youngest one took a friend with him. we went to see minions
Went on Monday to see Deadpool & Wolverine , very weak storyline , but an enjoyable film just the same .
For those that haven't been for a while this Saturday 31st August is National Cinema Day , many Cinemas are offering tickets for £4 each , this includes Cineworld , Odeon & Vue.
About 45 years ago. The prices they now charge, I couldn't afford it. So good job I don't want to go.
I go a minimum of once a week as I have a pass which I pay 17.99 a month and see as many films as I want.
I went to see The Phantom Menace last week and am watching Attack of the clones tomorrow and the new Beetlejuice movie Friday.
We went to see Wolverine Vs Deadpool but I get 6 free tickets with my bank so that probably played a part, although we was excited about the film if we didn't have the tickets would we have gone? Probably not!
It has been a number of years. I think it was when I was abroad and watched something on a rainy day. It’s not something I think is of good value over here
