Does Anyone Have Any Competition Tips & Advice For A Newbie?
Ask a Question
I'm fairly new to comping so I was after some tips, what is the best way to win more? I've seen a few ideas but would love to hear what works for everyone
Unfortunately not. I have won a few in the past but didn’t do anything special. I did win £50 on here from Tom and the gang, it was then donated to charity.
I used to win quite a lot of times in the past but now with the advent of online competitions and many more people entering, wins are few and far between.Try to enter as many as you can.Go for those where some skill is involved e.g. taking pictures with funny captions and sending them in.TAB is good for this.Good luck.
The only tip really is to enter as many as you can. I've been coming for years and have won a lot over those years but there isn't really a method that works best other than entering loads.
It sure there's a tip really, it's just entering and then hoping you win as it's just luck and random
I have been entering comps for many years and won a fair bit in the past, less more recently though
My tip is enter as many competitions as you can , check the terms and conditions to make sure you are eligible , and the most important one, never give up
As others have said, enter as many as you can. There is software you can get that auto fills the forms for you which speeds up the process. If it's a competition that requires you to submit some writing or an idea, try to be as original as possible
Just enter as many as you can. The ones on food packets have been successful for me in the past (Cadbury, J20, various brands of crisps), but I'd say that I do best with just the general ones where you fill in a form on a website. Don't be disheartened if you don't win at first, just keep trying x
I would suggest that you only enter comps that you know you or someone you know can make use of, otherwise you could end up with prizes that you can't use and others could have used if you hadn't won!
I used to win often but I've won once in the past few years but I persevere every day its my hobby I love it
Just keep on trying, enter as many competitions as you can but only for things that you or your family would like or use.
