How Do You Copy and past When Posting a Competition

Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone can help me iam struggling to post competitions ,
I get told to copy and paste but my phone won't let me copy it ,I try pressing on it different places but still nothing can anyone help please 
iam useless at stuff
Do you have a tablet or pc? Much easier. I have never done anything like that on my phone.
kate1310 I don't know really as I am a tablet and pc freak so do everything on there. I imagine others use their phone so I am sure you will get a helpful response.
Even if you haven't used your laptop for a while, charge it up, search and log in to LD and I am sure you will get on fine.
Can your son help you?
Don't mean to sound patronising but are you pressing until the copy etc bar pops up?
kate1310 There is a way on the phone using the clipboard but pc is just so much easier.

I can copy and paste other things. I just can't do competition. I was wondering why not, as most of my competition posts get taken down
Usually with phones you have to hold it down for a few seconds to then be able to copy the piece of writing you want to. At least that’s how it is with iphone, not always the easiest thing to do though.
I can normally do it with other things, I have the Samsung ,I do hold it down but nothing happens for me

I use an iPad but if I ever get stuck I have always got my youngest daughter (23) to help me out. Sometimes easier to be shown than told.
