Do You Have a Costco Membership?

I don’t but I’m considering it now lol I’m really into bulk buying to save in the long run

I don't but my brother does and oh my god they have the most amazing chilli chicken wings

We do don’t use it on a regular basis but it’s good when we do especially for filling up with petrol as it’s very competitive as you can tell by the cues lol.

I do and It came from the company I work for. All I had to do was take In two wage slips. Bargain.

Worth it for the saving on Petrol alone over a year

I bought the online membership and the prices are a joke. Amazon is cheaper

Thought about it but haven't got round to it yet.I don't drive a car so would be hard shifting bulk items.

I’ve had membership for years on and off. For me it’s about the America brands and ability to buy in bulk - coffee pods for example. The bakery sell cheap baked goods but the rest isn’t really cheap. I think quality is good and valuable to me, thats why I buy from Costco.

Good to use when having a party it reduces the cost. Otherwise i dont really use it only in summer time to buy water as it is cheaper.

I had one but didn't renew it as I only bought the birthday cakes from there. The hotdogs and the pizzas in the cafe were worth it as they are very cheap.

It is of course set up for business use. Therefore, ideal for bulk buying. Visiting as a private individual is only beneficial if one restricts oneself to only buying the "loss leaders". The distraction of being in an "Aladdin's Cave" will surely end up in spending more than necessary. Keep focused!

We do but maybe only go twice a year, I find it quite expensive but there are some bargains to be had. We usually buy household stuff In bulk ie toilet rolls and kitchen rolls. Their roast chicken is very tasty

You can add "a spouse" to your membership effectively making it £17.50 per person for the year so it's worth it if doing that especially if buying alcohol, meat or petrol.

The electronics are great as they have a 5yr no quibble warranty policy so it's worth price checking before buying from elsewhere

The petrol is guaranteed to be under the lowest price for the day anywhere else in the country and the fuel is good quality too

And if you hold an aa or rac membership you automatically qualify for costco membership too if you don't meet the work sectors to get one

Keep an eye on on Groupon as they do memberships with costco with a load of freebies thrown in. Last time I got 20 aa batteries for free, a rotisserie chicken, a big chocolate cake, a fiver off some olive oil and a couple of other bits and pieces so it made the membership about £2 when I split it with my "spouse"

Kirkland vodka make grey goose. And the toilet rolls, laundry liquid and general non perishables I find are good value

Kirkland items are of excellent quality but as with anywhere prices do vary.

The savings at the fuel station alone over the year more than covers the membership fee

Yes I have a membership card I share the cost with my son it’s worth it for some items but we also use it for the petrol station as it’s cheaper then going to the local petrol station

i have one and havent used it much tbh. i found good more expensive than i can find, but for convenience it could be good...but then so is going to any big supermarket?

i would recommend you go in with someone who has one (as you can take a guest), to see if you would think its good for yourself.

Been a member for years. It like a day out huge place lots to look at. Petrol is cheap

I was planning to do it, mainly due to the cut priced diesel, but it’s a bit of a drive and I stopped working near there so i know I wouldn’t be bothered to go.

When I had membership, I found I could not rely on my local costco to have in stock what I wanted to buy, like dried Montmorency cherries.

Also, I've had one or two watermelons from there which turned out to be rotten, and they weren't cheap either.

I'd love one, anybody know any hacks to get a membership? As I don't seem to qualify.

No I don't. My sister used to and went quite a bit and thought it was really worth it. The only one near me is about 15 miles away so not really worth it. Christmas time they do lovely mince pies on big trays yummy

My husband’s favourite place! Agree with everyone that it pays for itself on the fuel alone. We love their meat, the quality is second to none. My only grouch is that they have stopped making their lovely apple pies and they no longer stock Poppycock - the most delicious popcorn ever.

Yes I live near a Costco, so many deals to be had. opticians are good too.

Yes I do not go often but when I do I know what I want to buy and I do save money, it depends what you are buying.

Yep! Buy bulk loo roll, chicken, beef salmon, diesel~ fb & great value we're executive members so esrn each time we shop, which pays for membership

No i dont have it i wish I had it although the nearest one is quite far away & I dont know whether you can get it or its just through someone invite but either way it will be a good thing if I had it & the shop was near too so many offers at times I see but then I just ignore them

Petrol used to be a lot cheaper than other outlets. Now many supermarket forecourt are chesort.

Yes my dad has always had it and now my sister and I go with her. Always find some good deals and bulk buying. If you live with family, sibling etc its great to have... if you live in a flatshare/friends or solo then no point unless for the main bulk which you need extra storage for.

for petrol its great too!
