Do They Take Customers for Fools?

I have just seen these 'vintage' chairs for sale on a site which will remain nameless. If you enlarge the picture you will see they have not even been tarted up and they want £28 each, the original price was £55. I bet they laugh every time they sell one to gullible customers.
I wouldn't want one if someone paid me £28 surely there is Vintage and then there is tat.
Midnightflower there's clean too. I didn't realise vintage meant they had to be dirty lol.
I can buy cheaper chairs than this from several furniture discounted store in my area. It pays to look and shop around.
I'm all for buying 2nd hand, house is full of it, but that is just ridiculous! What waste of £28, people buying them have too much money.
Proper just someone chancing it, can’t see many, if any, falling for this but who knows. I suppose if they are showing a picture of the actual product everyone knows what they’re getting if they choose to purchase
They look like they have been rescued from the back of grannys garage and have not been used for years. If you are cheeky enough to try and make money from them ... Good luck
It depends what you are looking for, someone might be building a set for an old army base canteen, I could see these working for that. I mean I wouldn't pay £28 for them, I probably wouldn't buy them at all.
Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay though, if someone can get a higher amount for something, then why not try for it? If people pay it then surely they are silly for selling it cheaper?
I remember years ago Selfridges was selling a rough, beat up table, but it turns out that was the "style." What the heck.
Also, a very common game from the past called Sonic for the Mega Drive (aka Genesis) has risen in value despite it being so common it just baffles me how it's even worth that. It feels like a ripoff (not to mention it's way slowed down compared to the American counterpart).
As they say... One man's garbage is another man's treasure (or whatever ).
"Ungarbage" works too. lol
I think it must be me but I look at this and think 'why on earth would anyone pay £134.99 for that?' Worse, it is from The Range who I have never felt were overpriced. Yes, it's new, made of recycled materials but I would expect a set of 4 for that amount!
