Does Anyone Actually Win Anything??

I use to enter competitions daily and win occasionally but I don't have the time anymore. I've never won on twitter or Instagram but I have on Facebook and websites. I think it's a case of entering as many as possible everyday!

I have time and would like to do more but there are so many scams this way I find it hard to trust them that they are genuine. I don’t always find it easy to check this either so I don’t do many.

I won a competition from the Latest Deals ‘Arts and Craft’s’ Facebook group. It wasn’t a huge prize but it’s still a buzz to win something.

I used to win anywhere from 2-12 competitions a month.

It's probably more 3 competitions a month on average now.

But I did win 9 last month - smallest last month was worth £1.75 but largest was £69.99 so not huge prizes but makes a difference.

Biggest wins I've probably won was a TV, a £350 holiday and a £350 console bundle.

More people are entering these days, so prizes aren't as easy as they once were, even just before Covid hit. I don't just use this site for competitions, but if you use multiple, you need to make sure you don't re-enter some competitions as you could disqualify yourself.

I prefer smaller prizes I can gift or use, I don't enter for holidays too far from home or spa breaks.

I've won just under £800 this year so far.

From Latest Deals the company, I've won on their Facebook craft group fairly recently.

I prefer not to hear back from comps I have entered unless I win. It is disappointing to receive an email saying 'sorry you didn't win this time but here is 10% off your next purchase' which of course is a clever marketing ploy.

However, I have won many comps over the years some brilliant, some useful and others great for gifts. Having said that I am going through a dry spell and haven't won anything for about a year.

Not won anything for years but the way i see it you’ve got to be in it to win it. I know people who have won good stuff

Ive not won anything for about 6 months, but then I had a few months break so wasnt expecting much. Have increased my entries a bit now so currently entering about 800 a week in daily draws. When I last ran this regime I reckon I was on about 3 - 4 decent prizes each year. Like others I am less convinced about Instagram, but I am giving it a go for a while to see what happens. At the end of the day you have to be in it to win it! My wife has very fond memories of a holiday of a life time to Costa Rica five years ago so it was all worth it!

I have never won anything from any of the competitions on here. But I have won competitions in the past from other sites.

I never really bother with the competitions I just think it’s just giving up your personal details

I won three packets of swiss chocolate today!

My wins seem to come in waves, nothing for a month or two, then I'll win two or three in a week.

Lately I seem to be doing well with Aquatic themed competitions; I've won a swimming changing robe and a wild swimming wetsuit.

I have had a lot of success over the years , some really nice prizes but i am experiencing the same dry spell as others are at the moment

More and more competitions are going over to Instagram now , and despite entering a hundred to two hundred competitions per week , including instagram, it is the only media i have never won anything on , having had successes on both facebook and twitter , one smart phone on each 2 and 4 years ago

Saying that i did win a glass tankard yesterday in the hobgoblin daily contest, they say it is on the way

But i will carry on regardless

I do play and have won some giftcards and away from the site I have won items from money to meals . I would totally say AmimarieBurgess the immortal line of you have to be in it to win it .

I win often, tv was the best thing, coats watches perfume a bike, can be very quiet for a year then I get a few wins in a row

I've won loads of stuff over the years. The more comps you enter the more chance you have of winning. I don't just enter comps on here but on a few different platforms as it ups my chances.

I've been on here for ages play daily lots of competitions and won nothing not even anything small

As for other posts about this am sure other people have posted about this to but that's their thread this is mine I thought I would ask as well

I just wondered if it was worth carrying on or not...

Yes, I won a ten-pound Amazon voucher. For one of my comments. Easy to claim it too.

I won an Air Fryer in A Sun comp about a month ago, a huge box turned up about 2 weeks later with two compartments, there was an Air Fryer in each one! x

Years ago I won a few competitions!!

These days not so much and I hardly get any samples

My highest value prize was £500 worth of premixed cocktails. I gave lots away and I’m work my way through the remainder, delicious chilled.

I sadly do the competitions everyday, it takes me one hour and l win a prize roughly every three months....

Never won out on here but yesterday I won a prize from a local well known shop for just adding 3 friends sharing and liking the page

I have been entering competitions for many years and have had wins , You say you have been on here months that isn't long in the competition game. Do you enter any others? like in magazines etc. Winning is great , but it's the whole experience with comping . If you don't mind me saying maybe it's not the hobby for you. I absolutely love it on here . Like it's been said you have got to be in it to win it

I enter loads and - probably win on average once a month. The last win last week on aqua Pura wheel of fortune was a Berghaus coat of choice. Some decent stuff - so good luck
