Dolphins Seen in the Thames Are Found Dead.

In the News

This sighting was reported a few days ago but i felt at the time it didnt seem right as they are sea creatures. I wasnt sure how they could survive in the Thames.

I have just heard that both have been found dead and cant help feeling what a tragic end for these lovely creatures.

The news report asked that if anyone spots dolphins in the Thames they should report it immediately but gave no indication of who they should contact and no number.

I know, this is such sad news and I am so sorry if it has brought you the sadness it did me when I heard. I wish some marine biologists had got involved but unfortunately I assume as with so many things it comes down to money.

EmmaWright762 yes, always money. I hate to show my ignorance but surely with sea water being salty and rivers not they could not have survived in the latter.

This type of thing is happening more frequently L

Their built in GPS seems to be going haywire

I strongly suspect this is down to pollution spillages and micro plastics , animals and marine life are more susceptible to these pollutants than humans, it effects us slower

Lynibis It upsets me a lot L , they are such lovely and friendly creatures and they are abused so much by humans
