Are You Dressing up for Halloween
Ask a Question
I have organised a pub Halloween children’s party for the past couple of years and had to dress up. Last year I was the Doll from squid game. The children knew who I was but the adults thought I was Velma from Scooby Doo!
I won't be dressing up for Halloween. We don't celebrate Halloween. I make sure I've got some sweets in the house in case someone comes to the door but I don't like Halloween and don't like people coming to the door.
I won't be dressing up but my youngest will I take her out we only go to friends and family that know we are going to knock on
I will definitely be dressing up for Halloween I'm usually a musketeer but might go with captain Jack Sparrow this year. No plans yet but definitely dressing up
I don't celebrate Halloween, never have, and never will. When I was younger, it was never heard of.
LyndaSarrington I never answer my door when the "beggars" shouts out "Trick or Treat". An American money-making import that has got out of hand along with the coffee shops.
I don't like Halloween. I never have the whole idea of knocking on strangers doors. We usually take the kids for a walk, and go on a treasure hunt which we've organised our selves. So they don't miss out x
I don’t dress up, sometimes put a mask on to answer door. These days don’t get people knock as don’t put pumpkin outside.. I just eat the sweets instead
I do love Halloween I always go all out do up my house outside but don't think iam going to this year got a lot going on just so tired I do love seeing all the kids dressed up me and my dogs always dress up
We don’t do Halloween. We used to years ago just because felt pressured. People have pumpkins outside now. We have our house in darkness so don’t get knocks any more. I think parties are ok, I had one when little and I was a witch amongst ghosts and black cats. That’s a looong time ago!
I don’t usually dress up for Halloween but plan to this year cause we’ll be going out in bristol
jms19 Any idea what you are going to dress up as? My costume this year is kinda bat themed, I have the bat ears, a bat top and some bat lights. We will be on a cruise for Halloween, I don’t want to go to over the top.
I used to dress up & when the local kids rang our doorbell I would carry my little black cat in my arms wearing my witches hat & let the children stroke him while my young daughter let the children pick from the bucket of sweeties..
These days I take my Halloween outfit & spooky door bell to work along with the various masks & hats for my service users to try, they love it..
Only yesterday when we were out walking one of my service users told me she liked Hallowéen because I always bring my Hallowéen items in & she especially likes pressing spooky doorbell!
Lmao that is funny! Creepy doll that even kids know about but adults had no idea I never went out and dressed up as a kid don’t even like people knocking on the door, hate how random people just come asking for sweets pfft
