Are You Dressing up for Halloween

Ask a Question

I have organised a pub Halloween children’s party for the past couple of years and had to dress up. Last year I was the Doll from squid game. The children knew who I was but the adults thought I was Velma from Scooby Doo!

I won't be dressing up for Halloween. We don't celebrate Halloween. I make sure I've got some sweets in the house in case someone comes to the door but I don't like Halloween and don't like people coming to the door.

I will definitely be dressing up for Halloween 🎃 I'm usually a musketeer but might go with captain Jack Sparrow this year. No plans yet but definitely dressing up

I don't celebrate Halloween, never have, and never will. When I was younger, it was never heard of.

LyndaSarrington I never answer my door when the "beggars" shouts out "Trick or Treat". An American money-making import that has got out of hand along with the coffee shops.

I don't like Halloween. I never have the whole idea of knocking on strangers doors. We usually take the kids for a walk, and go on a treasure hunt which we've organised our selves. So they don't miss out x

I don’t dress up, sometimes put a mask on to answer door. These days don’t get people knock as don’t put pumpkin outside.. I just eat the sweets instead 😋

We don’t do Halloween. We used to years ago just because felt pressured. People have pumpkins outside now. We have our house in darkness so don’t get knocks any more. I think parties are ok, I had one when little and I was a witch amongst ghosts and black cats. That’s a looong time ago!

jms19 Any idea what you are going to dress up as? My costume this year is kinda bat themed, I have the bat ears, a bat top and some bat lights. We will be on a cruise for Halloween, I don’t want to go to over the top.

I used to dress up & when the local kids rang our doorbell I would carry my little black cat in my arms wearing my witches hat & let the children stroke him while my young daughter let the children pick from the bucket of sweeties..

These days I take my Halloween outfit & spooky door bell to work along with the various masks & hats for my service users to try, they love it..

Only yesterday when we were out walking one of my service users told me she liked Hallowéen because I always bring my Hallowéen items in & she especially likes pressing spooky doorbell!
