I was just watching an old TV comedy and they mentioned corned beef. It brought back lots of memories. When I was a kid corned beef was a staple ingredient in my Mum's kitchen, she used to make corned beef hash, corned beef pastie ....sh, corned beef pastie ....

As an adult I have never bought it, not due to taste reasons, but how difficult it was to open the tin, used to be a butterfly key and also I found the outer layer off putting. So, I wondered if corned beef is still on people's menus

I still eat corned beef occasionally. I like a corned beef and pickle sandwich or a corned beef and potato pie. Corned beef hash would be my favourite though. You're right about those tins! Still a bit of a nightmare. You would have thought that we could have come up with something better by now.

Leannexxx It`s £3.50 now. I wouldn't pay it as you`re only paying for the name on the tin. Tesco Is a complete rip off anyways. I do not shop there. They are £2.05 In Aldi. Not sure about Lidl. There Is an Aldi everywhere you go nowadays.

Yea now and again. I still enjoy it, although I like other food items more. I prefer it to spam, which seems to be popular

I buy tins of corned beef regularly. I dread to think how much fat there is but it is delicious in a sandwich.

I don't buy tinned corned beef, I buy packed sliced beef. I remember when there was a corned beef outbreak when I was a child in the 60's.

I have never eaten corn beef personally but I used to work in a pub kitchen and the lady who ran it used to make corn beef hash and I had to serve it, never liked the look of it.

It's ok and have it very rarely, I don't think I've had it in the last 5 years though. I think I did have a corned beef pasty at some point which wasn't that great, actually that might have been something like 3 years ago.

I buy It occasionally as I like Corned Beef Sandwiches with Tomato. I used to like a Corned Beef Breville too but not had that In a long time. Its still good though. If you`re unsure of the tin because you dont want to cut yourself. Dont use the key. Open both sides with a can opener and push the meat out.

I don’t personally. But my husband loves a corned beef sandwich. He doesn’t eat it every day or every week. Probably once a month

I love corned beef. My favourite is panacalty, it's a north east dish with veg, sliced potatoe & gravy. Our mam made it alot when growing up, probably because it was cheap. I don't make it often, perhaps once, twice a year.

We make Cornish pasties in the winter, from one tin we get at least 4 large pasties. It's time consuming but tasty and quite economical ......love it with baked beans on a cold evening
