How sad is this. Honestly I think we need to have silent fireworks. Theres Animals and humans that are terrified of fireworks. We've had fireworks on and off for 2 weeks where I am. Our town centre is having fireworks for switch on of Christmas lights. For those terrified of them it's not ok

Sorry but I'm not putting this down to fireworks how do they even know this? I don't like loud fireworks myself but I'm sure as a zoo they would know what to expect
Leannexxx what other then the fact it happened on the 5th November. Stress can caused all sorts of reactions
Jerseydrew oh yes I agree it can but loads of zoos have to deal with fireworks so I'm not so sure it's just down to them
This is such a shame, what a beautiful baby panda she was, it says she was stressed out and choked on vomit possibly caused by the noise of the fireworks
They cause so much stress to cats and dogs every Guy Fawkes and NewYear, i am all for quieter if not completely silent ones

janphoenix51 People should petition for this, but the fire seems to have gone out in the UK concerning protesting for this type of thing unfortunately
