Family Christmas Traditions
Other
We all have our own little traditions for Christmas that are personalised to our own family. The things you do Christmas Eve, the things you leave out for Santa etc . Would you share your traditions with us please?
Merry Christmas to everyone
Turkey hunt in the supermarkets, for some reason my children enjoy it, 70 percent off is the aim.
Howmuch it’s funny what keeps children occupied. You spend loads on presents and they play with the wrapping paper or boxes. LOL
I remember my mum wouldn't let any of us start eating Christmas dinner unless we put on the paper hat out of our Christmas crackers, lol
brianmnicholson I remember them paper hats and we always had to tell the joke from inside the crackers. Lol
We were always told not to open our chocolate selection boxes until after breakfast (same for our Easter eggs at Easter ). We always managed to sneak some chocolate before breakfast, I think my parents knew really but as it's Christmas they didn't say anything.
We used to have lots when the children were younger but now they are adults we don’t have any now.
Every year we sent our letter to Santa up the chimney. My dad would do it each year. On Christmas morning i remember we were told to open our stockings in our room first and then wait for a bit before waking our parents. We sometimes tiptoed down the hall to see if Santa had been. But we didn't do it every year.
