Moment farmer binds trespassers to his quad bike ‘like rabbits’ & drives them to police… before HE’S arrested
I thought this was brilliant
Please look at the photo of the boys I know I shouldn't laugh but they shouldn't be on private property I know the farmer did wrong

Seems to me that he thought they were on his property to commit crime, poor lads were only there because one of their bikes broke down.
blacklabrador one of them was riding his electric bike across across the farmers field the night before he tried to leave but the gate was locked, so he left his bike overnight then went back the next day I do feel sorry for them but I have seen some people going through farms motorbike, and bikes , or just going through with the animals there I don't agree with that ,I don't agree with the farmer taking the law into his own hands they will definitely think twice about doing that again thanks for your comment
kate1310 And with farms and farmers bearing the brunt of urban crime I guess he thought they were up to far worse.
The link doesn't work K, the sun links only stay active a while ,all the links go to the sun story unfortunately
Seems strange to arrest the farmer after all he was protecting his land. Looks like the law thought he was too heavy handed and the boys weren’t strapped in. I hope that farmer isn’t prosecuted.
Lol brilliant. Don't blame him fir doing that to be honest. He probably is suck of people going onto his farm and upsetting the animals and ruining crops
Jerseydrew that was my thoughts exactly I have seen loads of people in the farmers fields I can remember years ago all the kids use to chase the cows they probably still do yes I don't blame the farmer you would get fed up if it was your own property the photo of the boys just got me I bet they were terrified
kate1310 I agree the boys would be terrified but at the same time animals being chased are terrified and are stuck in a field
It won’t let me see the article but quite frankly it’s about time. This is private property even if it’s a field. Strangers don’t just rock up in your garden because they feel like it!! The amount of thefts from properties in the countryside has risen. Some friends live in a small village and thieves have targeted the properties either side of them, we think their farm hasn’t been touched because of the Kelpies running about.
Another friend had his tractor stolen.
Where I grew up a highland cow was scared and ran off the edge of a cliff.
People don’t understand.
I don’t blame the farmer. I hope it might deterred others going places they shouldn’t be. There is the right to roam bigagade but there are plenty of places to roam that aren’t fields with livestock in them or private property. People also don’t shut the gates……
Gromit22 sorry the link didn't work yes it is about time some people just go where they like and destroy peoples property I feel it for the animals , that is terrible stealing a tractor omg the poor cow it must have been terrified ,yes its right to roam what is great if they look after peoples property the farmers must be so fed up with it
Depends on the situation, he has a right to protect his property but if he went too far doing this then he should be punished.
I used to work at Birchfield Lodge Outdoor Pursuits Centre in Hope Derbyshire which belonged to Greater Manchester Youth Association in the 80s..
This place was accessed by going on a lane through the Farmer's property so the Farmer sat on the Committee & boy did he need to..
The school kids who were holidaying at Birchfield STOLE a tractor while DRUNK, ran amok in his fields scaring the animals, this happened with a few young groups who's stayed there, hence Farmer sitting on the Committee!!
I don't blame the Farmer for taking the law into his own hands as he was probably fed up to the back teeth of his property being stolen, wrecked & his livestock being scared.
