Farmer's Answer to a Fly-Tipper Who Dumped Hundreds of Tyres on His Land

You could say this farmer got 'tyred' of the situation when someone fly tipped hundreds of tyres on his land , and he took his revenge
He traced the guilty party and first of all asked him to remove them
Despite saying yes the culprit didn't, so the farmer drove over 400 tyers to the fly tippers home and dumped them in his garden
I bet he now realises he needs to 'tread' carefully if thinking to dump his rubbish on others land , or he might not have a 'goodyear', just too many

Imnotcheap I think its an impossible ask I , gone are the days when you just took rubbish to the tip without charge, its this that makes these illegal tippers dump their rubbish everywhere
I bet it is costing more for councils to clean up after these idiots than if they allowed deposits FOC , so up goes our council tax

He sounds so reasonable that he asked the person to remove them. I probably would have just dumped the tyres back in his garden as soon as I knew who they were. Really though the person should have been fined thousands of pounds plus any costs and given a short prison sentence.
BonzoBanana That's another problem B, the fines are not big enough, i would also take the trading licence off any illegal tippers, if they have one, and threaten them with jail if they offended again , also possibly post the face of the offender on a special bulletin board online
I would have thought with new technology and the likes of drones they would be easier to spot, but trying to cover the whole of the country is a big ask
Reminds me of the day Dad couldn't get into a field with tractor as a family had parked over gate and were having a picnic in the field with kids kicking ball around. He asked them to move car, they weren't very obliging and said they were doing nothing wrong. He asked again and where did they live as he would like to have a picnic in their front garden. They moved quick enough when Dad called the bull that was in the field!
First: Surely there is a recycling facility for tyres?
Second: Next we will hear the farmer has been arrested for fly tipping in someone's garden!
Good for that farmer and let's hope he doesn't get into trouble for returning them to the flytipper.
Fairplay but hopefully that’s not the end of it, 400 tyres is a lot to fly tip so hopefully he gets a hefty fine on top of his garden full of rubber
I hate fly tipping of any sort, the road off our's has only the back gardens & a small field between the houses on the other side of the road.The field has a steel 6ft fence to stop fly tipping so everything gets dumped on the path!
We get everything dumped from Fridges to Furniture, we have had loads of old tyres dumped on numerous occasions too there..
Sheffield City Council are up & down removing items every few days...
Good for him. I just don’t get why people don’t just take there crap to the nearest tip
It costs companies money to do this P , plus the fuel to get there, it costs them nothing to dump it on someone elses property
