What is your favourite fruit?
Apparently, the banana is the most popular fruit to be bought from Supermarkets.
I'm not surprised as they are cheap, filling, and available at nearly every supermarket/grocers.
My favourite fruit is peach but they have to be just right ripeness. They are very seasonal though so only like July or August. I like bananas but they too have to be exactly right for me to enjoy them. Easier to get all year round.
We have been eating a lot of melon lately. Homegrown strawberries are a must rather than the hard & tasteless things you can but in the supermarkets. And I bought a pineapple last week which was absolutely lovely.
tumblespots We usually go pick strawberries at a local farm - big taste difference!
It also might be that they go off so need replacing more frequently than a lot of other fruit.
Apples would be mine, you can cook them, bake them, eat them as they are, they can be added to savoury meals or sweet
When I was small my favourite fruit was peach and pear.. I say peach but really it was apricot but I used to call it peach I still like them but I love apple more now
Got to be pineapple for me, it’s a faff to prepare but so delicious. I always go through phases with most fruits, used to eat like 5 clementines a day but now i eat none.
Apricots, bananas and a nice juicy jaffa orange from the fridge on a hot day.Quite like black grapes and water melon as well.
didbygraham How do you eat your lemon and limes? definitely a sharper taste
SamGoodship quite happy just to bite into them but usually slice them and eat the whole slice
Definitely bananas for me. I eat them on a daily basis and must spend a fortune on them over time. I love grapes too. In fact there aren't many fruits I don't enjoy - which is just as well because I am a naughty boy when it comes to eating my veggies!
Love all fruits, once went back to my sister's house after we had been out drinking along with my other sister...
Let's just say her fruit bowl was overflowing when I arrived & had a few bits in by the time I left!!
My favourite fruit at the moment is kiwi, followed closely by strawberries and pineapple .
TiaTia The problem I've found with supermarket bought Kiwi, they take weeks to ripen!!
Blueberries, although now only buy if on offer ditto cherries. Bananas is the fruit I eat most of as it's one of the cheapest
My favourite is Banana which is handy as supermarkets use it as one of their staple products to price match against. Most supermarkets sell at a reasonable price although quality varies I find.
Strawberries, raspberries and dark red English cherries. Especially good when made into a salad and served with really good ice cream
LOVE ALL FRUITS, IT DEPENDS ON THE SEASON BUT STRAWBERRIES, MANGO, MELON AND PAPAYA ARE MY FAVOURITES
Strawberries and bananas. But I do love most fruits. I eat strawberries and bananas on a daily basis. Love them
My favourite is fresh Rasberrys if you can get them freshly picked even better.
I really do not like bananas
I do not eat a lot of fruit due to the fact I buy it and then sits and rots. I grow my own cherries, apples, blackcurrants and blackberries. My favourites are probably bananas and grapes.
When I go on holiday to a hot country, like Spain for example, I look forward to eating fruit! The nectarine is my favourite.........so, so juicy and much bigger than we are used to!!
I love all fruit. I have a banana every morning my favourite is cherry's ,kiwi pineapple & strawberries
I love cherries but they need to be plump and ripe. Tesco had some recently and they were the nicest I’ve eaten in years.
I like most fruits but my favourite are green apples, they're even better cold from the fridge.
I don't know how many have tried it, but pitaya is a trend in several countries.
I liked it.
Pineapple. I eat the flesh and freeze the skin - ready to take out of the freezer and boil when I fancy some pineapple tea!
