Ask a Question
What perfume, scent, aftershave, etc, is your favourite, and why? Whether it be a candle, perfume, or something else.
I will start with mine.
I have a favourite candle, which is Thai lime and mango, which smells amazing around my house. My favourite perfume/edt is lancome idole aura because I like the sweet lasting scent, it's like a fresh smell and it does last all day
I always loved the DKNY be delicious aftershave but i think they discontinued it a good few years back.
Scented candles or similar I love fresh and aftershave scents.
Cleaning products, I love citrus scents.
Perfume I love fresh or floral.
My favourite candle scent of all time has to be Yankee's Dreamy Summer Nights.
Burberry Touch is my favourite perfume it smells amazing and is reasonably priced but the scent doesn't last long which is a shame.
SaveMeSunday I've not tried that one, I have a perfume obsession, definitely one to add to my list. Thank you
My fave is Calvin Klein...Eternity. For evening I prefer something a little heavier and love Samsara by Guerlain when I can afford it or get as a gift.
I love the Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Eau de Toilette Spray and it has been a staple of mine since I left the army and it always gets the attention of ladies who comment on it always
PaxAmerica the women’s version is also nice so I’m not surprised you get good comments
I love YSL black opium ,Victor & rolf flower bomb ,Jimmy choo Eau de perfume love loads of different ones I buy all the Marc Jacobs love the bottles and the perfumes

Thank you Angie Vennalls,much missed..xx
janphoenix51 it baffles me why they always discontinue really good, decent products. I'm going to have a little search. You never know. Thank you for sharing Angie x
DebbieWay ...Angie Vennalls was the wife of Dr Bill Vennalls,I cleaned for them when they lived in Sheffield,Angie was very helpful, when she knew what perfume I liked she went on the Internet & searched for it,both were lovely, treated me really well, they went back to live in Devon where Angie was originally from,we kept in touch & when I was in Devon with my family we spent a lovely afternoon with Angie & Bill having afternoon Tea at their new home in South Brent,Angie made a gorgeous Chocolate & Guinness Cake.
We kept in touch for a number of years ,she invited us down to their home but we never made it & lost touch then I saw on FB that Angie had passed away in 2017. We were saddened to hear that, she was a lovely, kind caring person who became a friend, our daughter adored Angie & Angie adored her..x
janphoenix51 Oh wow, I love a story behind a reason, especially when they are cherished memories aw bless her thank you for sharing I really do appreciate it
DebbieWay ...You are welcome, Angie was a lovely, caring person who was loved by all who knew her..x
My favourites are Cerutti 1881 and Femme by Hugo Boss and the original Issy Makye. For everyday I just go with Coolwater by Davidoff
I love Calvin Klein Eternity edt for men. I've been using it for years. Also joop, boss bottled and wanted.
I love Cinema, Alien, White Linen, Opium and Black Opium. Alien and Cinema are my usual go to perfumes though
Favourite aftershave is definitely JPG, the only aftershave thus far that Id put on in the morning and still be told I smelled good at night
Pinkspirit .oh I've not tried that for years, how could I forget about that one. thank you. I appreciate you sharing
My favs are Spice Bomb and my wife likes the Flower Bomb by Viktor and Rolf. Nowadays though, I tend to buy the dupes as they are so good and so much cheaper. I get them from:
DebbieWay My wife and daughter are also a bit obsessed with the ones they buy from the local pharmacies, which they get a lot of complements when wearing. They have tester bottles on the display stands, like Boots etc have and come in various size bottles. Prices start at £5 I think
Carlton1512. It's definitely worth a try. I tried a few that said they were dupes, and they were awful. But I have found a few good ones, always looking for more though.
