Ferrero Rocher

Do you like the Ferroro Rocher?
I've noticed people either love them or just don't like them very much
I admit I didn't like them as a kid but now strangely I do enjoy them
My brother in law will only eat the official ones, he loves them.
I mean they are lovely, I'd probably have them more often if they didn't have such a high price tag
the same with Lindor I love the pink boxed ones, but can't justify £4-£8 a box for around 5 chocolates.
They are my partner's favourite Chocolates so when they are on offer, bought him some at Christmas then when they were £5.99 at Aldi, good date too..
It's not that they don't taste nice but its cosmetic confectionary where a huge amount of expense is the packaging. I get a lot more pleasure from a 200g bar of fruit and nut like those sold under a supermarket brand for less than £1 than Ferrero Rocher. I just don't see the point of it myself. I mean would you buy a bottle of milk that had a complex shaped bottle and gold lettering that was £6 a bottle? I just don't get premium packaging myself.
BonzoBanana ...When I was buying chocolate for a friend's Autistic 30+ son I bought chocolate bars, bags etc & our daughter decorated a box then we put all the chocolate in it..
Far better value than a box of chocolates, shows effort too instead of just choosing a box of chocolates...
No I really don’t like them. I don’t like hazelnut flavour at all. I also don’t like anything praline which is similar. On the other hand I adore dark chocolate but not Green & Blacks brand, don’t like that.
JLouM I don't like hazelnut flavored chocolate spread so I buy the one without it
JLouM ...My daughter & I adore Dark Chocolate, we used to love the Green & Blacks Tasting Box but after a few years of buying it for Christmas we went off it that's why we started using it in our cooking & baking..
Chilli with Dark Chocolate is amazing..
They're all right but seriously over rated I think. So many more types of chocolate which are equal if not better.
I really like them but only get them once in a blue moon as a treat because they are quite expensive
I like them but rarely buy them as they are too expensive. Waiting for the Ice Creams to come down In price too. I only buy them when they are on offer.
What annoys me about Ferraro Rocher is they took over Thorntons and now Thorntons toffee is very hard to find.
Everyone i know loves them, i agree as a kid I wasn’t too fussed about them but as I’ve got older I’ve developed a taste for them
They replaced the plastic box with a more wobbly one... That "premium-ness" just isn't there anymore.
I actually liked those hardened boxes to insert stuff in 'em.
I like them. I wouldn’t pay the price of £5+ for a box
You can buy much cheaper chocolates twice the amount of one box
I don’t like Ferroro Rocher chocolate as it has quite a sickly aftertaste which rifts on you.
Lindt chocolates are the best.
I think they are a bit 'emperors New clothes', nobody likes admitting that they are not nice. They remind me of the chocolate crispy buns at school fayres that have been made as cheap as possible. Ferrero rocher boxes are handy for keeping sewing threads in though
These are definetly in my top five all time favourites. Love eating them layer by layer then getting to the best bit of all the filing
I used to really Lindor strangely they just feel like there’s tons of oil in it now. Hence the softness. Ferrero Rocher aren’t too bad. But I think now I’ve developed love for Dark chocolate 85% . Milky ones takes like sugar it has maybe 10% of cocoa
