I am not one for watching a film over and over and I have never seen any of back to future films, must watch one day. I can watch Only Fools and Horses over and over and still laugh and Friday night dinner.

Gladiator. I stayed with my son and his family at Christmas and it was our choice for our evening viewing. 20 year old grandson had never seen it. Lost count how many times I have watched it.

There’s quite a few, particularly the films I watched when growing up. I think Home Alone is definitely one that never gets old for me - I know exactly what happens, yet I enjoy it every time

Lord of the Rings. My husband and I have watched them numerous times, they never get old. We have the extended versions. We've seen the Harry Potter films loads and the Christian Bale Batman trilogy.

As a child mine used to be willow I would watch it all day everyday for years. My mam had to have multiple copies of it because I was obsessed with it. But now mine is the best of me ( I cry every time but love the film) X

Dumb and Dumber: Theatrical Cut

The Unrated Cut is just a bit unpleasant and distasteful.

When I younger I used to watch many of my favourite films every year, but as I got older I watched them less and less. Even films that entered my top ten let's say when I was older I wouldn't watch that often. Maybe it is as you get older a year doesn't feel much at all, it flies by. When you are younger a year seems a long time. Wow, I haven't watched that movie for a year. Now it is I haven't watched it for five years or so.

My favourite films are The Wild Geese and Blade Runner I would watch both every year at least, maybe every 5 years now. I prefer to seek out new films I have never seen. And when I watch my favourites it is all the more rewarding.

Two others I loved and watched often when younger were The Thing and Assault on Precinct 13. The Thing I watched last year after not seeing it for years. The latter...well now I have remembered, is going to be watched soon!

I like sci fi and even though 'passengers' 2016 did not get raving reviews ,the opposite in fact, for some reason i like watching it over and over again, i really enjoy the concept and effects

I had it on hard drive before it was televised but when it is shown on tv, despite the adverts i always watch it again

I like fairly cheesy scifi and more highly regarded scifi movies and some of the movies I enjoy repeated viewing of are 'First Men in the Moon', 'Robinson Crusoe on Mars', 'Aliens', 'Bladerunner' , 'Terminator II' and maybe some studio ghibl films like 'Castle in the Sky' and 'Spirited Away'. I used to watch 'Seven Samurai' quite a lot the film the 'Magnificent Seven' was based on. For comedy movies its probably 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' as my favourite.

There are so many great movies but some to me are really only watchable once as much of the entertainment value is the surprise factor which is lost with repeated viewing. I thought the original 'Alien' was amazing but don't see much point in watching it again, where as 'Aliens' for me is much better for repeated viewing as there are more action scenes.
