Is the £25 Free Offer for Taking out a New Credit Card Worth It?
Money Saving
£25 free when you take out a new. Vanquis credit card. Me and my partner. Both did it and got the free £25 each. We only did it to get the offer. As we have better card with another company. Anyway all you got to do is spend. £1 on your new card and it only took them 3 days to give us our free £25. Please note. Always be careful with credit cards. This one as a high interest rate. But as long as you pay it back. Its good. Just Google. Vanquis £25 credit card offer to get a link
Long as people don't mind having a hard search on their credit report for a year. And the CCs stay logged for about six years.
£25 is good "free" money, but I grew out of doing this and use my own money than a CC. Even as an "emergency" a CC isn't all that great because you have to pay it back within 30 days or pay the charge.
PhilipMarc yes but it's up to everyone. There's no harm in. Taking one out using it. Pay back the cash in full you use and. A hard search. Won't. Harm your credit file. As for myself and partner. We both have a very. High. Score. With the credit reference agencs so due to us never missing a payment.
Strangely your credit rating can go up if you have more credit. What they like to see is people having credit and then reliably paying it back rather than not having credit. So more credit cards can improve your credit rating. However if you have too much ability to borrow that can effect your credit rating so if you get the option choose a lower credit limit.
My current credit cards are a Pulse card and Halifax Clarity card as included with my Halifax current account. I'm always looking for a better reward card. Pulse only offers 0.25% cashback on all purchases. I'd like to find something better than that. I don't pay interest on my credit cards and pay in full each month.
