Fun Post : A Comedian You Don't Find Funny at All.
Ask a Question
A Comedian you don't find funny at all.
For me it has to be Matt rife (and Boris Johnson )
Sarah Silverman, Trevor Noah, Russell Howard, Leslie Jones, Lilly Singh, Amy Schumer, the show Big Bang Theory (adding a laugh track or staged live laughter doesn't make it automatically funny), etc.
By the way, Johnson makes jokes? I looked up...
Awkward.
I can't really think of any as I am not into comedians whether stand up or in films but if we can choose a comic actor I really can't stand Jim Carey. He goes way over the top.
I'm going to be really unpopular here I think, but I just don't get Billy Connolly.
I appreciate that many others do though, so it's probably just me.
blacklabrador Yeah I don't get Billy Connolly at all either. I can honestly say I've never laughed at any of his jokes and it doesn't take long before I'm reaching for the remote control. Also Michael McIntyre I don't find funny except I do think he is a very good host of 'The Wheel' just because he is so enthusiastic and creates a great atmosphere for the show but his standup routines leave me cold. I think comedy is very hit and miss and what works for one person may totally fail for another. I'm trying to think of stand up comedians I've enjoyed and there is Sarah Millican, Dave Chappelle, John Pinette and probably loads more whose names haven't come to mind.
Have to say Jimmy Carr omg I'd love nothing more than to kick him somewhere very painful for a man he's a complete moron
Leannexxx ....Totally agree with you on that he's a ***car!!
Love Alan Carr though,
Used to love the late Paul O Grady also Julian Clary..
Love Joe Lycett, reminds me of Julian
Like Jon Culshaw reminds me of Rory Bremner...
janphoenix51 Alan Carr's nasal whine grates so much I can't even listen to see if he's actually funny or note
I saw this post on social media today too.
Although why do I feel bad saying who I don't like? I know they are in the public eye but I feel it is a bit cruel, why can't we say who we do like and why we like them? Instead of putting others down. (Even if they aren't going to read this.)
I'm usually more into a bit of dark humour, I'm not really into slapstick comedy personally. If something is relatable and true it is usually quite funny too depending on the delivery.
DeBunny ...Yes let's say who we do find funny..
Tim Minchin
Bill Bailey
Lee Mack
Late ,great Rik Mayall
Ade Edmondson
Late great Dave Allen
Benny Hill
Ronnie Barker & Ronnie Corbett to name a few...
I’ve never been a fan of Ricky Gervais and not tempted to watch the new Catherine Tate program. The trailers I’ve seen make the series unappealing to me.
Pjran I agree with you. I have never been into Ricky Gervais personally I don't find him funny and think he is quite big headed!. I also don't fancy the Catherine Tate program looks like she is out if her comfort zone
Pjran I do like Ricky Gervais, although never watched the office, liked him Afterlife and Derek. But do agree with you on Catherine Tate, never been a fan.
sallylester1 I never liked Ricky Gervais but my fiancé has been watching video clips of his stand up recently and some has been quite entertaining. He speaks a lot of truth on some topics.
Pjran I just don't understand what it is that people find funny about Ricky Gervais, His expressions kind of look at me and i will wait while you laugh. Now Ronnie Barker and David Jason have talent that Micky Gerkface would not understand.
Jack whitehall and kathryn Ryan. The former is boring and not funny. The latter is loud and irritating.
Ricky Gervais, Micheal McIntyre, Kathryn Ryan, Jimmy Carr, Mel Giedroyc and Miranda Hart. None of them are funny.
Katherine Tate. She can be funny occasionally but most of the time I find her quite annoying.
People mistook Jim Carrey for being over the top or annoying as that's what comedy is about and more!
Don't find Sarah Pascoe funny, like Sarah Millican BUT she's soo naughty, don't find her husband funny..
LOVE,LOVE LOVE Lee Mack & that genius Bill Bailey, was lucky enough to get tickets for my birthday last year as part of my Birthday Celebrations..
I love stand up comedy. I watch alot. I enjoy most to various degrees. I'm not a fan of musical comedy tho (Tim Minchin is an exception) or many female comics .
Amy schumer, henning wehn, david mitchel, frankie boyle, al murry, david baddiel, sacha baron cohen, (unless he’s ali g) james corden, (more annoying than funny) hal cruttenden, milton jones, josh widdicombe. To name a few
I use to like Peter Kay and I've seen him live but l no longer find him funny, the same applies to Brendan O'Carroll.. Mrs Brown's Boys
Roisin Conaty. Such forced jollity. Must have a great agent or close contacts or something to get her on HIGNFY. But thankfully others are wiser and she doesn't appear much elsewhere.
