Garbage Trucks Not Returning Bins to Its Owners?

Ask a Question

It doesn't happen too often, but there are times I see garbage trucks and in the back they have bins which seems like they had forgotten to return them?

What happens to those affected? Buy new/used ones (maybe again)?

just phone the council and they deliver a new one! Although think ours has now started charging for delivery very recently

How do they forget to return them, has someone else stolen them ? Never had it happen to me but would give it a day to see if it came back then call the council.

Howmuch Don't know. It's just strange because that's somebody's bins they're taking with them.

If the bin men did not return your bin our council would replace it free of charge. But this was years ago.

jam45 Not mine, I just see them (not too often, thankfully) with one or two bins in the rear and they probably shouldn't be there.
