I hate the education system. The longer I'm working in it, the more I hate it and the more I see it's broken. The more I see we are failing kids. I failed all mine cos i can't do exams. I'm not thick. I can tell you about the subject in great details before and for a couple of years after just not the day of the exam as I fall apart. My brother will read it the week of the exam memorise it and pass to the point he is in the top per cent of pass marks. Can't tell you a thing about it the subject after

I agree. My education was severely interrupted in my teens by travelling to Australia and then back home again. I have loved and learned history my whole life and I know it sounds boastful but I probably know a lot more than the average history teacher. However, there is no opportunity for me to pass on that knowledge and I get very frustrated sometimes.

I never felt pressured in exams. But I have never felt that intelligence is judged by what exams you have passed anyway. It's just that academia of this world do not give intelligent people with few or no qualifications a chance.

It isn’t the best way to test intelligence and those results follow 16 year olds for many years to come. I’m glad there are more paths for kids nowadays

Its a very outdated system and the curriculum really needs a major shake up IMO! The world has changed significantly and we need education to change with it otherwise we are setting our children up to fail
