Ask a Question

Been married for almost two years and the theme for year two is cotton. What ideas do you have for me to buy for my husband? Apart from socks!!

Have a look on Etsy as they have some good ideas there, I had heard of the socks, probably one of the cheaper options lol.

How about a personalised tea-towel? Etsy have some really good ideas there.

Or something else that's made from cotton such as a shirt or cushion.

MartinBluck What's wrong with shopping at Asda, B&M or The Pound shop for a variety of goods to choose from and very, very cheap? Didn't you read the newspaper article on Etsy sellers buying sub standard or cheap goods and passing them off as hand made and overpriced?

jam45 Nothing wrong with ASDA/B&M at all - and no I didn't read that article as it happens. I just suggested Etsy incase OP was thinking about something personalised, thanks for jumping down my throat though.

jam45 ah no way! I hadn’t seen that! That’s very interesting but very dishonest to claim it’s there own work.

What is wrong with going into a card shop (Card Factory) and choose from more than a dozen different type of cards and anniversary products?

How about buying each other a pair of cotton pyjamas? You can have fun taking them off in Summer and snuggling up in winter🤗

You could get a cotton cushion with a favourite photo of you both on.

How about a pair of cotton dressing gowns, they’ll last years and are practical.

The traditional gift is cotton but the modern gift is china so you could go down that route or do both. Whichever you choose, congratulations to you both.

Suppose that is a hard one and it’s nice you’re following the tradition even though I wouldn’t personally.

I've been married for 8 years nect month, we've never bought each other anniversary gifts and only did a card for the 1st one. What about some new bedding? Something you can both enjoy.
