Would You Go through Painful Surgery to Increase Your Height ?
In the News
This man from Germany undertook extremely painful surgery to increase his height from 5' 8'' to 6' 3'' an increase of 7 inches
It is not for the squeamish, they have to break your legs and insert metal pins and the bones, muscles, skin, and nerves take a long time to stretch into place
He says it was worth it as he feels more confident and more of a man ?
Would you go to this extreme to increase your height ?

I had a boyfriend that went to Russia to add height added to one leg so both legs were the same length, it wasn’t a huge amount but enough that was causing him other issues. They are the experts in this area, he had had surgery carried in London but it didn’t work so he ended up out there (this was about 20 years) when he was there he met other that were lots added so they could for example become airline pilots
I have always accepted the height I am and never thought of changing it. The operation does sound a bit extreme though and definitely not for me.
I remember when some younger women were having this done so that they could become airline stewards (i think height requirements have since been scrapped?). I always thought it was a bit far myself, but people can choose what they want to do with their bodies and if it’s that much of a big deal then fair play to them
Omg I didn't realise you could actually get this done I thought people were joking I would love to be taller but I wouldn't go this far
Oh my days I didn't even realise that there was any such thing, i'll stick to the height I am thanks very much .
No I wouldn't but I would if it was to make me smaller hate being so tall growing up was horrible being the only tall kid in school different now nearly all kids are alot taller these days
That's looking at height from another perspective L , i know someone who thought the same , they even used to stoop slightly to avoid looking too tall
But you are right, this generation are generally taller than the last and i think it will continue over time
I have opposit problem I've lost height due to back problems. I already have a metal rod in spine adding some in legs really wouldn't help
I am 5ft 7 and once had a boyfriend who was 6ft 7 then married a man who was 5ft 2 so can't say I have a type .I am more interested in the contents than the size lol.
I saw a similar story on an episode of CSI. You would have to be really insecure about your height to go through with something like that. Its shame we cant accept our bodies for what they are.
