This is what can happen if you put too much faith in a GPS
It can be 'At the next junction take a left and 'splash ' , you are up to your neck in water
I have used a GPS for years and i have lost count of the number of times it has sent me in the wrong direction or on the longest route
I remember once it took me along a narrow farm track to a dead end , i had no space to turn around so i had to reverse nearly a mile to get back to the main road
Technology can be great most of the time but occasionally it can be dangerous
In this case GPS means 'Great Place to Swim'

I was going to Lynton & Lynmouth a few years ago and my sat nav guided me up a narrow track road only for one car and no passers by and suddenly I was face to face with a Tractor. I had to reverse. They can be good but also bad.
People will think I am dotty but my first thought was that their doctor had sent them! I just had to respond so everyone can have a laugh at my expense
I once followed a GPS to know where a drop off location was (parcels) and it was somewhere else. I'll admit GPSes can be very helpful, but it can also be awful.
