How Often Do You Wash Your Hair?

Ask a Question

I'm just wondering how often people wash their hair? Recently, I've found that after 1 day, my hair feels dirty and looks so dull.

Every 2 or 3 days. Usually Sunday night, Tuesday night and Thursday night but sometimes it gets an extra wash or done on different days depending what our plans are.

Usually twice a week. My hair doesn't take long to dry but takes lots of moisturizer as it's straw like

Every other day for me was every day but as I've gotten older I simply can't be bothered doing it that's why I have my hair short

Ideally every other day but have to wear it up and clipped back for work. It actually stays better unwashed but as soon as I am not working I will wash it. Probably twice a week.

I can't win. I find that if I wash every day my hair becomes really dried out, but if I leave it two days it starts looking greasy by midday on day 2!

Years ago I washed my hair daily in the shower but as I’ve aged I don’t find it so greasy.

Whenever I wash it so much hair comes out lol, then I have to clean bath tub, then after blow drying it have to pick it up from my bed and carpet too!

Using shampoo 🧴 hair is dry and washing it for the second time shampoo lathers 🧼 more easily cause of the oiliness, I do use conditioner and find that after blow drying it feels dry 🤦🏻‍♀️ but then it gets soft and dry yet again and second day later it’s damn greasy again

Get annoyed 😠 so much like all that effort each time washing hair!!…

kitty88uk well you should only wash your scalp lol when rinsing the shampoo off it goes down your hair what cleans the rest of your hair and only condition the bottom half of your hair never near your scalp

Leannexxx Yeah I know that you are not supposed to put conditioner on scalp

Did see a video on Instagram someone put conditioner on first then shampoo and conditioner again lol. Saying that it makes hair cleaner no idea

I’m comments some people said use hair oil for dry hair

Due to fact I have PsA I have to wash my hair everyday. If not then it feels bad and it then annoys me the whole day

I only wash mine once a week. I don't need to wash it more. Could get away with washing it every 2 weeks but that's a bit much

Jerseydrew Your so lucky! If I left mine for 1 week it would look like I'd dipped my head in a chip pan 🙄

2/3 times a week. I used to wash it daily but I don’t go out anymore etc and work from home so don’t see the need personally

once or twice a week, depending on how it feels. The hard water here is drying for the hair and scalp, so I limit it if I can. When I’m abroad, I can wash it every day, if need be

Every 2-3 days. Sometimes more often if I’m out walking and it’s starts to rain. I feel it’s dirty after it gets wet
