Hair Dryer Switched off When It's Hot

Recently I have purchased a new hair dryer. I bought it so that I can blow dry my hair by myself. I switched off when it's gets hot. Then again it works when it cool downs a bit. I find it very difficult to use. I cannot return it. What can be done?
