Hair Removal Cream
Ask a Question
Hello my oldest wants to try hair removal cream I've never used myself what's the best one to try on her?
I used to use either Veet, no idea if that is what it is still called, or the Boots own make. Both were great. Sometimes need to do it twice as doesn't get all of them first time.
Leannexxx I use Nair Sensitive and never had any problems, it comes in three forms www.savers.co.uk/b/Nair
lilyflower well I got that one did a test and her hair is that thick it did remove much
Leannexxx only other suggestions are Nair Tough Hair Coarse/Dark Hair Removal Cream or Veet Men Hair Removal Cream, Sensitive Skin. A quick google for alternatives came up with these top runners Woo Woo Tame It. Boots. Hoosh.
I’ve used Nair in the past and it was ok. I found it all a bit messy and smelly though. I just find the easiest way is wet shave with razor in bath/shower.
Leannexxx Ah ok yes. When I was growing up I just had an electric razor. Some are better than others. Could try wax strips- messy too and slightly painful but but closer. Depends on pain threshold and if she can get used to it. I have an epilator that plucks like tweezers but that can be very painful and have to do it right and get used to it but only on legs. I only use occasionally though when don’t have time to wet shave.
You can get those wax strips , they might be worth a try, I think veet do them plus sensitive skin
I use veet I have tried others but didn't like them I broke out with cheap ones I have tried nair products they are also good just depends what it's for
I'm addicted to tweezers.Miss em when I aint got em.Used to use Nair but it burns if you leave it on for a few seconds longer than planned.I've used wax as well..gosh that hurts!I had a depilatator as well..rather eat my legs lol.
Can I ask what hair she is trying to remove? I have used creams in the past and apart from the smell they work well. Can she not use an electric razor? Years ago I used to use silky mits on my legs. It made them really smooth.
eyeballkerry it's her legs and armpits she's got a electric one but it pulls and doesn't shave that close to her legs she's got thick hair
Using the cream can use up the £s. It’s cheaper and quicker to buy some disposable lady shaves.
