Ideas Please for Our over 65s Club

As may know I started giving history talks to this club and really enjoyed meeting and mixing with them so I asked to join. We have tea and cake, bingo and quizzes, more tea, raffle and more bingo and quizzes lol. Prize for a win is a bar of chocolate!
It can sometimes be a bit repetitive so I wondered if you have any ideas for other games or things to do, keeping in mind some are over 80 so we remain seated mostly. It's very interactive so board games wouldn't be suitable, there are 3 tables with 8 to 10 people on each. We have the history every 8 weeks and also occasional live music but any other ideas would be appreciated.
How about an exercise class. You can do gentle exercise sitting in your chair. There's also Tai chi, another very gentle exercise, or chair yoga.
Maybe some kind of craft activity - like decorating empty wine bottles and putting string lights in them
tumblespots they are not good at listening for more than 30 minutes, also you have to pay speakers. I do my talks for free but when they have entertainment it usually costs £40/50. They have to pay hall hire, tea/coffee, the bingo, quiz and raffle prizes. I am thinking of things like bingo and quizzes that are free. I shot going but it can be a bit boring same old, same old lol.
Lynibis One thing I am planning for after Christmas dinner is buying some plasticine and putting the names of items in a hat (you could have a theme, animals etc). You pick an task from the hat and make it from the plasticine, the best one wins but it's the fun of having a go - great laughs and relatively cheap!
Either all make the same thing at the same time then refashion the plasticine to make the next one or all make different things, it's up to you.
tumblespots that is a great idea, I will put that to the 3 ladies that run the club. As you say plasticine wouldn't break the bank, or playdough, and it wouldn't be too messy.
Maybe art or crafts. With Christmas coming up could maybe make Christmas cards. Or Christmas decorations. You can get lots of wooden decorations to paint on Amazon. You could even sell these to then raise money for the group.
You could approach a local florist and ask them to teach you all to make a Christmas door wreath. They could sell a few bits and bobs plus get more customers in the future. Take a couple of photos during the class and send to the local press, free publicity for the florist if they agree to do it FOC.
What was really popular in our village was knit and natter but it got so big so that had to move to it to the next village, some people call it knit and bitch!
eyeballkerry lol, I like the latter name! Yes that's a good idea I will put forward everyone's suggestions.
Arts and crafts, knitting, maybe mix up quizzes and do something like a music quiz where you play songs and they have to guess the artist etc
KateGriff169 one of the ladies brings her cassette player in and we do that but thanks everso for replying as it is a good idea
I just had a thought (OMG!) When I was in the brownies (years ago now...) we took a walk around the village and had to find as many things beginning with a particular letter. This could be adapted to the room you all meet in?
tumblespots I guess we could hide some little Christmas treats. It is a great idea but we have about half immobile and one lady almost blind, I think they would all be bumping into each other lol. However, I love that idea as I used to do it with my boys when they were young.
From my experience on elderly wards they seemed to love playing simple ipad games, nintendo Wii and also play your cards right was very popular
