As I was looking (via https://reelgood.com/) for where "Malcolm in the Middle" is streaming, I stumbled upon IMDb TV where you can stream this show, others and movies.
There is a catch: It's not available in U.K. so you'd need a U.S. VPN.
It's free with ads (as it always happens when it's somewhat).
Do you know the best free VPN to use by any chance, had looked before but so many I gave up.
any advice would be most appreciate. 
Windscribe (https://windscribe.com/) offers 10GB per month for free users, and sometimes there are codes to increase the bandwidth amount.
And also Proton VPN (https://protonvpn.com/). I've been told that the speeds on Proton VPN may be slow (it does say "medium") so try out both.
These are VPNs that hardly ever get talked about since they never pay to get promoted (that I've seen). Others (PureVPN) is everywhere, but is it actually good? Not really, it's alright to watch Netflix, I guess.

In that case it's not intended for streaming, moreso to access websites blocked by the ISP. As for a free alternative, Proton VPN offers a 7 day trial (became aware after signing up for it) and it's free afterwards, but with "medium" speeds.
I have a lifetime account with Windscribe so I only tried Proton VPN out of curiosity. TheChimp
tubi TV is another free streaming service that has been around for a decade, but it's only recently come to the UK - tubitv.com/home You don't need to create an account to access titles. Although, the UK version has less content than the American version (but, you can still access the USA website using a VPN).
I use an app called beeTV, it has all movies/series ect... download on your android phone and cast to TV, it's great and free
