Is it just me or are other people sick and tired of Katie price seriously she's everywhere and it's doing my head it's bad enough she uses her son to her advantage now it's her bankruptcy all over the news either way she's got bail of it was anyone else who didn't turn up for court they wouldn't have got that

The rich and well known do get off. Due to top top solicitors! And of course money. Should of done a prison sentence after crashing car on drugs! Broke my arse!
I’m sure many think she’s had a glamorous life but I wouldn’t change places with her.
She thinks she's above the law, I'm glad she was arrested and remanded in custody, I don't personally like her and I've never watched any her shows
She has just had £10,000 worth of surgery in Turkey while bankrupt for the second time ???

telmel Bankruptcy is basically debt to other people and businesses which can mean they struggle to stay a float. We take bankruptcy far too lightly in this country. I was a debt collector in the past and the amount of businesses that went into debt because of non-payment by customers and many of these business people worked really hard. It's like a domino effect. It's no better that theft sometimes where people just build up debt with no expectation they will pay those debts but expect them to be written off. As a debt collector you would come across a huge number of people who played the game, lived well at other people's expense. Many a time I turned up and there was bankruptcy procedures in place that protected those debtors. It's like shop lifting many prices are inflated to allow for people who don't pay. Credit card interest rates are so high because of a percentage who end up not paying and the debt is written off. Personally I would have it that anyone who goes through bankruptcy can never have credit again except for assets like a mortgage where the property can be taken back for non-payment. Multiple bankruptcies is just ridiculous.

BonzoBanana my son has a business and they spend far too much time chasing debt, which means having to pay for solicitors etc.
Lynibis Those costs of course have to be passed on normally to other customers so effectively everyone else has to pay for their debt and for those solicitors. As a debt collector many years ago I think the creditors only got back about 40% of the value of their debt. So for every £1 they were owed they only got back 40p if the money was recovered but this was still lower cost for them than involving solicitors, courts etc. Really debtors should be paying back every penny to the creditors and paying interest on top in all cases unless they were provided poor products or services. If you see how China responds to debtors you can see why debtors in China are far less common. That debt stays with them until paid in a lot of cases even if its decades. I think because the UK is so soft on debt that we have so many with high debts that often get written off.
BonzoBanana not in my son's case as he is like an estate agent but for other businesses and they charge a set percentage fee so they can't increase the fee for others or they would go out of business, but I get what you're saying and it is true for most businesses.
Lynibis Surely that set percentage fee incorporates a percentage of non-payment? Most fees change over time to reflect market conditions. Many shops have increased their profit margin to cope with higher levels of theft. Businesses just have to adapt over time. I would of thought if non-payment became a bigger issue then those fees would have to increase or something would have to increase to allow for non-payment. I guess if its property related and with property still under such great demand in the UK with still rising prices despite real incomes going down there is that increase in margin but the way the economy is going property values are likely to fall at some point especially commercial property. There has been much talk about a global recession as the US struggles to make its interest payments and stock values have fallen.
BonzoBanana I haven't a clue, not my business run by him and his partner. But if there is so much non payment I imagine there would be lots more if they upped the fee. Case closed.
Its about time she was behind bars. How she gets away with It baffles me. If It was you or I, we would of been locked up by now. I am also fed up with hearing her name & seeing her cosmetic face. Lets hope now she will get banged up but I highly doubt It. She Is worse than a cat with nine lives. Because of Harvey she Is let loose and that Is not justice. She just wants pity.
I think she is on the verge of a breakdown, her whole life has got out of control. I think since her Mum got ill she has got worse. We see this with so many famous people. She needs to step back and get help

The problem is she has no real talents or skills. Probably never wanted to learn anything so never really progressed. It’s sad that to get in the news she relies on more plastic surgery or uses her child. Bad example for her many kids. And everyone is really bored with her now…
I think Katie has a mind set of do what ever you like to me, I am going to make money, I am going to give my son whatever he needs and to hell with it. She's going to get a book out of this is nothing more. If they send her to prison I just hope she tells the stories of other women in there too, possibly those that stood up to their violent partners etc.
EmmaWright762 I doubt she will ever go to prison E , but if she did i am willing to bet she would benefit from it, there would be a book, a film , or a tv series , possibly all three, with a title like ' I am banged up, but they won't let me have plastic surgery ' or ' Katie Price, paying the price ' or something along those lines
She would come out richer than she is now

telmel Oh that is just so 'in your face'. That rather scuppers her though as evidence if they then want to take her to court for 'money or goods as proceeds of crime'. It's illegal to make money from crime and the system will just take it back again.
I remember seeing about her on the news recently and thinking to myself who cares. I've never been interested in her but somehow she seems to crop up every so often.

Yes I totally agree with you ,she seems to be everywhere, she does pretty good for being bankrupt ,I saw the photos of her on holiday after getting a face lift ,she was putting people of there holiday the way she looked
It’s weird, she seemed to be a responsible mum a few years back and was on this morning talking about harvey etc but now all i ever read about her is that she seems to think she can do what she wants and the laws don’t apply to her.
I wish they wouldn’t give these sort of people any press, it rewards them for their bad behaviour
jms19 She obviously playing the media for attention and sometimes these celebrities will pretend to be totally stupid and outrageous in the face of normality - which lets face it the press love. They are parasites, celebs and the media - it's like the ugly bug ball lol

If she is bankrupt, how did she manage to pay for the flight and the hospital fees for the facelift? Her credit card would perhaps be declined if she had not paid off her balance or her monthly amount.
She said to the courts she was going out to Turkey to work and came back with more scars and plastic, how is that work? Surely it's a crime to lie to the courts?
She was at the same school as me and was a decent person back then, quite humble in fact so not sure what triggered the personality change

If she had to do any real prison time it would be way worse. She would sell her photos and story from behind bars. flip you just know she’d write a book about it

Yes, definitely agree. I don't really know who she is or why she's famous - nor do I want to know, but she's popping up in the top headlines, along with actual important/serious news too often, that I feel I already know too much about her.
hky I think the most disgusting thing she did for publicity was filming the birth of her third child that was shown on tv in 2007 , she does anything to make money , even something private like this, it should have been kept that way
Totally agree ! Every thing that Katie price does is attention seeking. I’m sure she loved getting arrested at the airport the other day just so she would be in the news and write about it in her next trashy real life book of stretching the truth !
Really don’t see the attraction in her anymore.
