How to Keep Your Towels Looking & Feeling like New?

I need to get some tips on this too

But what is the point of keeping them in a cupboard? If they are hidden away and not used it is a waste of money, but at least if you use them you have had your moneysworth even if they fade a bit.

I don't buy expensive towels but have only recently stopped using some that were over 30 years old. I have cut into squares and now use for polishing, shoe shine, washing car, so they still have a life

Don't use fabric conditioner, it coats the fibres and makes them less absorbent. Line dry if possible and tumble dry just for the last 10 minutes to fluff them up.

I don't buy expensive towels. I have towels from M&S that are 15 years old and still in excellent condition. I just wash them and line dry them. I don't use fabric softener and just use powder detergent.

I prefer powder detergent and use a little distilled vinegar instead of fabric conditioner. I like to tumble dry them just for a few minutes to fluff them.

Try white vinegar every now and then instead of fabric softener.It removes any build up on the towels and restores them.

I've always been told not to use fabric softener with towels but if you do you can use vinegar to restore them if you need to.

No fabric condition line dry and few mins in dryer and a good shake when dry

Like others have said on here no fabric conditioner, must admit I do use it though as I'd like my towels smell and nice.
