King Charles Has Cancer!
In the News
Like us all, The Royal Family is going through a bad patch, let's send our best wishes to them, and hope everything turns out ok!
Horrible disease and I wish the King and anyone else experiencing Cancer, all the best, hoping each day brings you closer to a full recovery.
Mango4 Let's hope so! Poor Jonnie Irwin, you know from the TV programme A Place In The Sun, died from it a couple of days ago too, he fought so much, and did alternative things, but I don't think there are that many people who actually beat it, I think you just buy yourself time, it's such an evil disease, and for Charles only being in the job 9 months is very cruel, when The Queen, appeared to be quite healthy, and had such a long rein, it's very very sad!
Sending support and love to everyone undergoing cancer treatment!! xx
JoTarpley yes I saw that about jonnie. So sad. Don't watch him but had hoped he'd survive
I don't like this person one bit (and he doesn't come off much of a king or deserved it), but that's certainly a horrible disease to have.
Men and women need to do a checkup to make sure they don't have this curse of a disease and if they do, get it treated before it's too late.
Not long ago YT recommended me this video, a video of a guy I'd never watched before:
Hope this guy makes the best of the few months he has left and goes where he wants.
I did look up cancer-related videos on YT so that's probably why it showed up.
Life is so cruel to him and many others with cancer and other life threatening diseases, my heart goes out to them all. I live with constant pain which no one knows the cause yet, I’ve yet to get in front of the right specialist it’s a long tedious process and exhausting fight with the system. I hope the king’s treatment goes well and he won’t be in pain. I only hope Harry and Megan don’t use it as a way get into the spotlight by rushing to him.
Gromit22 the system is utter rubbish. My mum has lived with chronic pain for 30 years and been on all the medication under the sun yet they say there’s nothing more they can do and to top it all off she was diagnosed with cancer last year. For 18 months I was pretty much screaming at doctors that nobody should be bleeding out there bum for that long. Our NHS has really gone downhill. I hope you get the treatment you need to get pain free soon
Pinkspirit we will never know the full truth about what happens between them but I do know Diana had her fair share of men
Leannexxx Who can blame her though, she was so young and starry eyed, she didn't know what she was getting in to, when it appears that she was only used for an heir to the throne, that's something that happened in bygone days, it shouldn't have happened in our lifetime, you can't even imagine how the poor woman felt day to day with all that going on!!
Pinkspirit just wanna say that I'm not offended by your comment in anyway and I can see why you don't like the royals I was just saying that we will never fully know the truth
Lots of people get devastating diagnosis everyday but not everyone gets to start treatment the next day. I hope King Charles fights and comes through the other side well , but I’d like him to spare a thought for someone’s mum , dad , sister , brother , aunt , daughter , uncle , son who gets told they have cancer and has to live with that for weeks sometimes months til they to can start treatment and as king of our once great island with our once great NHS put himself in there shoes to , the ones without a expert team around them, and realise that just by being born into the “royal family” he is lucky. Get well soon x
Perhaps he will use his privilege position to argue for better care. That would be some legacy
comriegold Yes, that really would be a step in the right direction, and hopefully have some positive impact!
Do you think cancer is becoming more common? I know 3 people in my family that have died of various kinds. Is there something about our modern lifestyle that might be happening that’s contributing to this? I know the king has highlighted it at the moment but it makes you wonder.
JLouM Apparently there are over 100 known cancers that can affect us, I'm not sure if it's becoming more common, I think it's more a case of years ago they didn't know what things were, it's all advancement in medical science.
They say one in two of us will get cancer, but my husbands Dad died of it, my Sister died of it, my Sister in law died of it and numerous friends of all ages have too, so I don't know where that leaves me!
I see Harry spared 30 minutes of his time to see his dad. Must be great to have ghat sort of money to fly over from America for a 30 minute meeting and have the cheek to go on about being green
