Is a King Size Bed worth Buying?

I was at a hotel the other weekend where they had a king size bed in my room and I honestly had the best sleep I've had in a while, but I would like to know everybody else's thoughts, is there any negative experiences anybody has had?
Yes it definitely is. I honestly don't know how anyone sleeps in a double bed. I love the beds in Premier inn. They are huge and so comfy 
I have a King Size with my partner and have to say it is wonderful to have so much room. Definitely worth buying.
Was it the size of the bed or the comfort of the mattress? It might just be your mattress needs replacing.
It sounds like u slept on a nice mattress, hmm more important than the bed itself...
King all the way, Double you turn one way you bump into each other, turn the other way your off the bed
Better still is a superking, we had one in a hotel last year and there's a small country between you as you sleep. I only wish my bedroom at home had the space for one, my kingsize actually felt small when we returned home
I have a super king bed at home . My partner runs hot and I'm always cold, so gives enough space for us both to have our own duvets to keep us comfy, and plenty of space for activities
