Knife and Fork, or Fork and Spoon with Your Spaghetti Bolognese?

Ask a Question

I was wondering, what cutlery you guys use when eating spaghetti bolognese ?

My husband is a knife and fork guy. Where as I always use a fork and spoon 😊

I never used a knife for spaghetti, that just seems odd. We all use a fork and spoon and cover it in grated cheese.

I only use a fork at home but if in a restaurant, it's a fork and spoon job 😃

Takes to long to use a fork and spoon, plus knocks of meat etc. I tend to cut it up using knife and fork as I go or cut up first then use a fork / spoon.

Fork and spoon, we had lessons as children and were encouraged to order spaghetti Bolognese on a first date as a positive move to show we knew our way around a menu etc. Seems a bit of a old fashioned idea now

I just use a fork myself & suffer twirling the spaghetti around the fork. Paper towels handy too.

If it’s spaghetti then I need to use a spoon and fork. I tend to cook pasta shapes rather than spaghetti.

Personally I don't eat spaghetti but I would have asked "do you wear any kind of 'bib' as protection from sauce flicking around?"

Just a fork. Only ever a fork. Why dirty 2 implements when only 1 is needed

When we eat spagetti we always just use a spoon and fork, easiest way in my opinion.

Knife and fork though a spoon is easier. Just never think to use one

Fork and spoon always for me. I don't really see what purpose a knife would serve in this meal. Fork on it's own would be enough at a push but spoon and fork is the best way in my opinion

I occasionally have the cheap processed spaghetti Bolognese you get for around a £ a pack frozen. I just use a spoon and use the edge of the spoon to cut the spaghetti.

I’m a knife and fork kind of person. My son also likes his cut up. It’s my son’s absolute favourite meal, we have it a lot 🙈

Knife and fork. Never used a spoon. Cut it short or wind round fork. Don’t often have bolognaise though.

Just a fork. I used to do fork and spoon, my half Italian husband laughed at me lol first time he saw me with a spoon years ago. I'm now master of fork only and do not make any mess😆

I don't eat spaghetti Bolognese, but if I did, it would have to be a fork and spoon. I don't see any need for a knife.

Spoon and fork. I don’t know how people do it with a knife and fork. I’ve always used a spoon and fork to swirl the pasta up

I only use a fork bolognese but the missus uses a fork and spoon, however we use linguine or tagliatelle instead of spaghetti.
