Has Anyone Watched 'The I Land' On Netflix?

Just watched the first one of the The I Land on Netflix. Totally confused. I found it very slow and could not understand that no one was concerned about food and shelter and the fire was the size of a pumpkin. I googled it and found out it was rated as one of the worse Netflix series. Anyone recommend I carry on watching it or give up now!
I would give up then. If it’s rated low there be a reason. I’ve not tried watching it yet. And I doubt I will know lol.
I watched the first episode of Loki which is extremely highly rated but couldn't see much in it at all. The acting is great but the story is just a load of nonsense that makes no sense even for fantasy. Most of these comic book hero series/films seem to care little for plot etc. I think I'm just getting too old to enjoy such series.
