Ask a Question
What was the list film you saw at the cinema? And was it good?
We went to see Oppenheimer and wow that's a long film! It was so well done.
Wow I don't actually know! It must have been that long ago
I don't even know where it would have been either!
I know I've been to the theatre to see a variety act and a couple of comedians recently
- Social media suggests it was Life of Pets in 2016
It was a while ago - John wick 3. I hadn’t seen the previous ones but it was good enough to make me watch them afterwards
hspexy I went to see the last couple of John Wick films at the cinema and enjoyed them more than I thought I would
SamGoodship same here. they were good and I can see them squeezing at least one more out of Mr Reeves
Honestly I can't remember. I bought a Panasonic AE100 projector back in 2003 I think and stopped going after that as preferred to watch films at home. So its probably 20 years or more since I've been.
Went to see Oppenheimer last weekend, quite boring really. Our cinema has a bar and some take their beer and wine in the screening. I spent time watching one man excusing himself to go to the loo three times after downing his pint.
Pjran There was so many people in our screen and for a 3 hour film I expected there to be a lot leaving to go to the loo but hardly anyone went. I think if you had to go you would have completely lost what was happening in the film because so much was being said.
SamGoodship someone was chatting on the radio about this film and said many just got up and left.
I liked Oppenheimer as well. Over the weekend I went to see the Japanese anime, The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes. I enjoyed the film, but not as much as other recent anime releases.
The last film I saw at the cinema was Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. We actually watched it in Australia as my daughter wanted to see it before her brother as it came out a day earlier in Australia. We saw it in 4DX.
It was one of the Star Wars films, so probably 2017. We don't go to the cinema often, only if it is something we really want to see.
PeteHolmes I watched a pirated camera copy of that movie and I still feel I was ripped off. lol
What a trashy movie. Worse than Crystal Skull? I'd say so, because I enjoyed the Indy parts on that movie and here he was just a tired old man doing it for a paycheck.
I'd like see Oppenheimer my recent cinema trips have been with the kids. So watched Elemental and the Super mario movie.
About 22 years ago, myself and three mates went to see house on the haunted Hill. Probably one of the worst films I have ever seen.
I can't remember, think it was Rambo: Last Blood because after that I intended on watching Joker, but oh no, they decided to house arrest the masses for "our safety." There are still some who wish we were.
He's god damn right.
Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 on May 12th ,did the VIP Experience because by the time we had paid out for food & drink we might as well have done that..
We do this once in a while & it was a treat as our daughter had just finished her Radiography Exams day before & come home to spend time, just in time for my birthday..
Went at Xmas to watch Disneys encanto. It was for work so I had about 60 kids to watch as well
Chariots of Fire, in a double bill with Gregory's Girl, Blackpool odeon cinema, probably 1982
Last movie physically watched in the cinema was dungeons and dragons, I don't particularly like going to the cinema
.it's expensive, I don't like the smell of the food people eat in there and I don't like all the noise from other people and Most of them I find uncomfortable.
I do however love movies but tend to wait for a digital release to watch them. I have a reasonble TV and sound system setup
Shang~Chi And The Legend of The Ten Rings! Loved the film and cannot wait for the sequel!!
