All within a 400 mile radius "Requires Improvement" or are "inadequate"

Most of the UK is like this from that lol

In fact, I can't see any that aren't orange or red 🫣

Shameful that a 'first world' country should have so many that require improvement.

My local hospital has always had a bad reputation sadly, i worked there for a bit and most of the staff did all they could so hard to blame them

jms19 My recent experiences are that the staff are battling insurmountable odds to try and keep things running

blacklabrador yeah unfortunately that seems to be a common occurrence in the nhs. The frustrating thing is imo there is money they just the powers that be choose to spend it on things that aren’t practical

My local hospital has issues. The staff are wonderful but it's old. The problem is my government they are wanting to build new hospital and are literally wasting millions debating where to put a new one. Money that could be spent on doing up what we've got.

Jerseydrew Gotta love those consultation periods where money seems to be wasted.

Yeah right, the daily heil. This is a cheap deal site, not a platform for political point scoring. Drop it, unless you want to be throwing trolls and bots off every hour.

Claret1 It's a discussion board where you can post items in the news. If you don't like it don't reply, better still stick to looking for the "cheap deals" you crave and leave sensible discussions to members who are qualified to participate in them.

blacklabrador I certainly will, I don't wish to interact with people who enjoy running the NHS down. Ta ta.

Here in Plymouth we are top of the charts - in terms of the worst performers. We have the longest ambulance waits in the country, the most number of patients waiting over 2 years for surgery. etc etc. The hospital is doing a massive amount of work to get on top of things and everyone is working their socks off but years of chronic underfunding are not going to be solved overnight. Our whole hospital; site is a massive building site at the moment so once all the work is completed then things may start to improve, but there are massive challenges ahead.

didbygraham Indeed, and I guess that is a story retold in most hospitals up and down the country - everybody is trying their best but underfunding is undermining many efforts.
