Lost Wedding Ring 'Amazingly' Found beneath Sand on Havelet Beach, Guernsey

In the News

As you may know, I have said I am only going to post this news stories, which are surprisingly hard to find.

Today, some news stories have made me cry or made me 😠 so I was pleased to come across this story.

A man who lost his wedding ring in the sea after a midnight swim, part of a 40th Birthday celebration, was "amazed" to be reunited with it the next day. After a search by family and friends. It was found the next day, 20 feet out to sea and 3 inches beneath the sand by local licensed metal detector.

Oh wow that's such a lovely story. Good old metal detectors. My husband lost his in a park about two years ago, shame we didn't have a metal detector

Aww that's brilliant. My son threw my wedding ring down the sink. It was just a cheap replacement one after I gained weight in pregnancy but I was still gutted I had lost it.
