Man Sells His Baby for £750 to Fund Gambling Spree

In the News

I was talking about this the other day, how gambling ads are everywhere, on tv, online and endorsed by sports figures and their teams

That in turn is helping to cause more addiction and in turn lives are ruined

But i was totally shocked when i saw this article , this is taking things to the extreme , someone selling their own baby to fund their gambling addiction !!

The baby was only 3 months old !

Then i saw another similar story where the same happened in Indonesia where a man sold his baby through facebook

How can anyone even contemplate doing this using their own child , it's incomprehensible ?

I did note their was no mention of the mothers in all of this

I love a little gamble myself but this is next level, some people go to serious extremes to fund it which is ridiculous. I know it's an addiction but more needs to be done to help people

I've never really gambled, horse racing is corrupt, online gambling fixed, I mean who would gamble on a digital slot game lol , one of the reasons I stopped using Facebook, my feed was bombarded with gambling ads

martinlufc5637 That's the problem M, you only have to accidently click on an advert and you are inundated with them

The fact that people are buying these babies for only £750 is shocking too. Surely they would know what they are doing is wrong

PayItForward One person used the excuse they are saving the baby from the irresponsible parents that are doing this and can give it a better life , but it still isn't legal regardless of the morality issue

Surely the babies mother reported this and got her baby back. He should be castrated!

jms19 Gamblers are like drug addicts J, they would sell their mothers for another fix or bet, or as in this case their kids
